As a guy that's 40, one change I've noticed in the dating/married world in recent years (last 10 maybe) is the concept of trading up. I genuinely believe that older generations than mine had more integrity than to conduct themselves in such a way. Then again, technological advances have made dating so much easier for people, who knows if this is something we were always capable of, or if people are degenerating. Regardless, in the here and now, it has become a common practice for women (and some men, but to a lessor extent) to date somebody and at the same time, be on the lookout for something else. Usually, as it pertains to women that do this, they are looking to trade up. They're disgusted by unattractive men when they make an advance, but when a more attractive man makes a pass, their reaction is different. They still put on the facade of "I'm a married woman, how dare he". The expression on their face is different. They speak of it less (to not draw attention to it). I specify women because i think men are generally the same as they've always been in this regard.
The ultimate "test" for a woman would be if chad comes along, and she rejects him because she loves her man. Of course, there are seemingly very few women that would pass this test in todays modern society.
2 part question.
If you had to speculate, or draw conclusions based on your observations and/or life experience, what percentage of women would pass this test?
And without crossing any moral boundaries (setting her up to be hit on by a chad, any insecure creeper shit), how can a man choose a woman more likely to pass this sort of test? What characteristics might she have? Red flags to look for, etc...
Thanks in advance for your time and replies.
