The Wall is a stupid idea.

When I was a teenager, I couldn't think of how an older person could be considered attractive.

Now that I'm in my 40s, I appreciate women in their 40s and sorry, yes, your tits defy gravity and your skin is smoother, but younger women aren't as attractive to me as they were. And also, there's more to a relationship with a woman than a firm pair of tits and if that's all you're into you're going to be very disappointed no matter what your age.

The manosphere changes this number on an hourly basis (always in increments of 5 ) some still say 35, some say 30, some say 25, some say 20. Next week they will say 15.

It's a creepy and disturbing trend.

First of all, setting the "wall" for women at the age of 30 is straight up dumb anyways. Look at Sanna Marin the new finnish prime minister (the very first example that came to my mind at the moment, dunno why). Most MGTOWs talking all day about their own way would be unable to get a girl like that (of course not do to status I mean looks-wise). It's all about having your dick dry and getting bitter over it.

Of course there's some age when the absolute majority of women become unattractive to most men, but it is definitely nothing near 30.

For men the wall is more than real and it is connected with virginity. The exact age is arguable but no doubt if you haven't managed to lose it at (20/25/30, the latter for sure) the future isn't bright to say the least. If you didn't miss during your youth then the wall is much less critical than for women. I know it is not the best idea to always bring up biology but a 60 yo man can have kids, a 60 yo woman - much less likely.

I think a lot of the RP stuff has merit. I also think that many people let themselves go as they age. But, I’m in the gym consistently (and have been for the last 15 years) and if men OR women take care of themselves, looks hold pretty steady into the forties and seem to decline linearly after that. Basically I think the idea of a “wall” is silly. The wall is mostly self imposed by people who stop maintaining themselves and applies to men and women.

Aging treats men much more favorably. I never got as much attention from women when I was in my 20s as in my 30s. Many will mention that men have lots of things working in their favor at an older age, career, money, status etc. But I'm just talking lookswise. Men don't look fully grown up until their 30s and 40 is prime, given that they take good care of themselves. Women on the other hand generally don't look better with maturity. They may be wiser and "have their shit together" but that doesn't factor much in their attractiveness to heterosexual men.

Men lose testosterone around 1% a year after 35. This is a gradual decline

Women have menopause and go full stop. And their fertility drops off quite a bit after 35.

A lot of men hit the wall earlier than 35 if the wall is looks. They get their job and let themselves go drink on the weekends and start going bald and do not know how to manage it. Then if they are in their mid to late 20's they just randomly marry whoever the next person they date is in order not to have to put much effort into themselves.

The Wall is more a reflection of how dominant young women are in the SMV in their youth rather than a reflection of their value as they age.

Men will always desire youth and beauty. The market is ridiculous. But yes, pathways exist for women to still be desirable alongside men after 30 and beyond.

First you need to learn the actual definition of the wall to change your misguided view. It is not about women being sexy past the age of 30, also it is not about her ability to hook up with men past the age of 30. In short it is about her options of high value men declining, fertility and degrading looks/skin compared to the 20 year old women. Any bloop who claims women after 30 are hot is delusional. Compare apples to apples. Sexy 20 yo vs sexy 30 yo. Which one most high value men choose? The one with less baggage.

Nope, not the same whatsoever. Men can continue to be virile long after the age of 35.

Also, when it comes to pulchritude women are visually valued for youth (smooth and unblemished skin, proportionate fatty tissue distribution, no sagging, etc) and men are visually valued for apparent strength (size, musculature, upper body mass, etc).

You can go even further and examine the impetus for this valuation, in that society has women as worthwhile for their looks and men as worthwhile for their disposability and ability to provide. So losing the luster of youth hits women a lot harder if they buy into this ("never ask a woman her age").

A man can always hit the gym, improve his diet, and get a better job, but a woman cannot just become younger (hence the futility of plastic surgery and skin pills made from some arcane fruit particulate).

35 is generous, I've seen men who started balding in their teens. That automatically gives you a -5 points in looks scale, but most women won't admit it since they like to sugarcoat the truth.

I've been trying to write a post on psychological effects of men hitting the wall, but the mod (who doesn't seem to know the difference between you're and your) deleted it.
