I’m a grown man so I’ve personally never seen the appeal of watching someone else play a game I could easily just play myself (but hey if it makes them money, and people like to do it, good for them). But if I’m not mistaken, these streamers are kind of celebrities in the gaming community, right? Does this women not realize that every single public figure only does something if it benefits them, or their image? It would be a waste of their time to do something that has no benefit to their brand. So, I don’t get what her issue is?

.. So what if he never played with a female unless it was a benefit for him? His job is streaming, that's how he makes his living. If you got the choice to pick between A:someone who benefit you and your career or B:someone who doesn't benefit you? Of course you pick the one that benefit you, it's business and plain logic.

And my last point; he decides who he streams with, he can say no or yes to whoever he wants. The chick bringing gender into this is the sexist here, acting like men have a responsibility to help every female even though it doesn't benefit us.

Fortnite deserves all the hate it gets (even if not always for the reasons people give) but it's a tragedy that people insist on demonizing video games in general. There are some incels that will try to push women out, but just assuming that a gamer is sexist because of his gender ironically outs a whole other sexist. And as I recall, there was a time when he said that he had concerns of what the rumor mill would do to his relationship with his (what were they, lovers? Engaged? Married? Ah well.) at the time. Public figures have every right to try to maintain a personal life, and trying to prevent your professional life from harming your personal one is pretty sound justification. It's disgusting how low women like this will sink just so they can play the victim.

And yes, I did use the word incel on this thread, but I want to get out in front and say that I'm not referring to people on this sub. I feel the need to point this out because I know it hits a nerve here. I understand the difference between an incel and someone who feels women should be held to the same level of accountability as men. There are incels out there, though.
