Came here to ask this. This is what urban dictionary says:

Redbone, the correct terminology, is a black person who has red undertones in their hair and skin. Usually light or light caramel but not always. They just have reddish hair and skin.

BUT!!! It's NOW used to describe a particular look that occurs in African Americans. Each culture has their own term for this look. In Cuba its: 'Haba' or 'mulatto'. Usually light light complexion.

However, The term TODAY, is used in Black culture for any light, super high yellow girl/woman, mulatto looking woman who is Black(Not Latina, etc). If she is mixed, but still looks traditionally black and mixed w/white(Not the Asian and Black look)she may still be called redbone, but its used to describe a Black Woman(who can HAVE 2 black parents) who happens to be extremely light

The truth if you really care about it (not that I think you do) is that people who are abused often turn to abuse others. PoC have been discriminated against, mistreated, and abused by society at large. Colorism is the idea that lighter-skinned PoC have it easier because they can "pass" in many situations. It's rooted in some real prejudices like light-skinned slaves working in the house vs dark-skinned in the field.

Why are you asking me like I'm a girl lmao I don't fucking know what women want, I'm not physic. I just have my experiences to draw from. Since this is the second comment I've gotten about what women like or want, I'll give you my expereinces.

I'm 6 foot 4, have been training boxing and MMA for three years, athletic, etc. Virtually every single woman I have ever been with, without fail, have said that they were initially attracted to, in order, my confidence, athleticism and height. Every single one. Confidence is 100% personality it has absolutely zero to do with how you look.

Does it help that I'm tall and athletic? Of course, but that's not the be-all-end-all of dating. If you're 6 foot 6 and 220 pounds of muscle but you act like Mark Zuckerberg no one will care what you look like because your personality will turn people away.

Why the fuck do I even need to explain this shit to anyone. Just be confident it is literally that simple. Doesn't matter how tall you are or what you look like. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
