This is cross between an update and question.

I was reading this post, (its new enough, but being wary about directly linking it).

basically a hot "christian" girl was gamed and claimed "i don't normally do that" yet proceeded to be pounded, and eventually was found out she had pounded many of his friends, and then was marrying some soyboy pastor.

And it got me thinking, this is actually all too common, right? some recent stories come to mind:

  • someone at my church mentioned a female christian they minister too, lived overseas with some non christian b/f who was treating her and her kids bad enough, (which come from another unmarried union), paying rent etc, (inverted beta bux?, where she pays for everything, idk what that is called). She was fearful for their lives, was sleeping in their room to "protect them", eventually got rid of him (the christian girl who says eventually we will get married, never marries, then branch swings ship to another )

  • another couple i know, the brother of the wife slept with her best friend, multiple times (the "christian" girls who still sleep around).

the point is not to harp on people's mistakes or anything like that.

What i want to know, is it just a matter of becoming a high SMV/RMV man, watching every red flag, and screening any woman i am vaguely interested in? surely there are women who reject this way of thinking/doing things (especially the woman marrying that pastor? is it really because we have gone too much lamb and no lion in the Church?

Maybe the last of NAWALT needs shattering and sweeping out of my mind.

update for my self:

1 area i still need to work on is not cave into emotional blackmail. i am guessing its weak frame or strong habits i have built up and need to tear them down.

What do you think?
