M/29/6'5/265 - pray and read the bible daily, church twice a week, own my own business and and house, lift 3x/week.

I've been seeing a girl I met at church for about a month or so now. We have seen each other multiple times a week (dinner, bible study, etc...) and I even spent Christmas and New Year's eve with her and her family. She has told me that she likes me and enjoys getting to know me. Our conversations and bible study often end up becoming discussions about our past relationships and expectations for a future relationship; she says she's happy we're both comfortable discussing those things with each other. The thing is, she has stated, on multiple occasions, she's waiting for God to reveal to her who she's suppose to be with and she won't even kiss anyone until that someone has been revealed.

This is leaving me perplexed as to how I need to handle moving forward with her. If she is truly waiting for a sign from God, does it even benefit us to have a conversation about defining our relationship? Or do we simply continue hanging out and getting to know each other and see where the Lord leads us? If I should have a conversation with her about where we stand, what do I say/ask?

Her and I both agree that dating isn't the destination, marriage is, and that it's important to be intentional; however, if I'm being honest, it just feels like we're friends who are attracted to each other but not "dating" per se. She is the first Christian girl I've pursued and I'm not sure what the dating progression should look like. Before being saved, it was "easy" to gauge where my relationship stood with a girl based on physical intimacy.
