I've seen a lot of back and forth on this issue, just wanted a take on my current situation:

Married twice now. First marriage to a woman who was previously married before and got cheated on. She left him and we started dating and got married. She didn't want to be married after a year and left me even though i tried to reconcile over a year, eventually I met another christian woman and we got married. My first wife got married for a third time at the same time I got married to my now second wife. My first wife gets divorced again after 1 year to her third husband.

My current wife goes against my wishes and joins military, comes back after having multiple affairs, i forgive her, but hen she leaves the Christian faith and is converting to Judaism this month after nearly a year of trying to get her back to Christianity and her refusing.

So my questions:

  1. Is it continual sin to be remarried? I find it hard to believe it's better to murder someone than to be divorced/remarried.

  2. If it is continual sin, doesn't it break when she were to have sexual intercourse outside the bounds of our marriage, thus freeing me to remarry?

  3. My current wife is find being married to me, but i am very concerned about having different faiths, do I remain by her side till death since I made the vow? Paul mentions if an unbeliever is fine living with you, then let her remain, i'm assuming this falls under that category, but we want kids and she wants to raise them Jewish and I want to raise them Christian.... so not sure what to do here... not have kids?
