Today marks 9 official years in a relationship with my husband (we've only been married 9 months)! I knew at 16 that he was someone worth holding on to and I've never once regretted my choice to follow him through life! I'm just so happy! :D Tonight I'm in for some special surprise, and knowing him it will be awesome!

For any young women in relationships wondering if it really can last - it can! Nothing could ever replace the slow, wondrous glory of growing into adulthood alongside my husband. At 25, I have the depth of life experience with him that some women only achieve in their 40s! Pair up young and ride out the storm of youth together, it makes everything else so much easier. Dream big dreams, and have faith in your young love! <3

Hi ladies! I'm just here to celebrate losing my baby weight and chipping down on my 5k pace. I am going to reward myself with a new pair of running shoes if I can hit my next pace goal. What's your favorite way to reward yourself? (That's not food. Trying to move away from that, lol!)

I started employing RP philosophies about two weeks ago, including some I read in Fascinating Womanhood (still working on getting ahold of a few Laura Doyle books!). A few nights ago I was rinsing my plate in the sink after a gathering. BF made a comment about how our host's dishes game was not up to his standards and that he was glad I have learned to keep a clean kitchen - this has been a long term lesson for me. Then he says, "You really do a lot to keep me happy, don't you? I've been noticing that lately and it really means a lot to me." :D

I am so grateful for him and I finally feel like I have the tools to be the partner he deserves.

I'm feeling real pregnant as I reached the 3rd trimester with this pregnancy yesterday! I head down to my hometown next week with my toddler and I have to pack a million new baby items and it's just getting very real that we will have two little ladies in our lives soon.

This is a small rant that I just need to get off my chest - has anyone else noticed that it seems to have become trendy for people to say how much they can't stand children?

I hear it all the time and it really grinds my gears, because it doesn't seem enough for people to just say they don't personally want children, it HAS to be all "EUGHHHH CHILDREN ARE GROSS WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT THEM THEY ARE A BURDEN ON SOCIETY HORRIBLE THINGS". It's like they're just trying to be edgy. I don't know if this is just another part of 3rd wave feminist nonsense and disliking children is a way of saying "ha see I don't conform to gender roles!!" but I've seen men saying it with increasing frequency as well.

I personally love children and definitely want my own someday, but I have no issue with those who don't, it just irks me when they have to make a huge deal out of it. It's like the new veganism - you can't just have it as your personal preference, you HAVE to make sure everybody knows about it. Okay rant over ha. Sorry it's just been annoying me lately.

Hi RPW ladies! Been lurking in this subreddit for about six months and it has been very helpful!

I recently started dating an amazing guy long distance and I needed to clarify something. Obviously RPW says to wait to have sex until exclusivity. Does exclusive mean being in an official relationship or does it simply mean neither of you are seeing other people?
