We are finally home after 113 days in the hospital. Littlest One is cancer free! Life is exhausting and overwhelming but so so so good! My heart has been in two places for the past four months. Reunited and it feels so good!

For anyone that's interested in ASMR: A while ago an asmr artist, Ephemeral Rift, got a lot of attention for being horribly sexist and bullying or some such thing (I couldn't find anything about what started it when I did a quick Google search), this was shortly after releasing his 'Manly ASMR' videos. I watched it, but wasn't triggered in either sense. But recently he came out with a 'Manly ASMR for Women' video which I found to be absolutely hilarious and tingle inducing. I particularly love that he obviously didn't consultant a woman at all in the making of this video.

I have a bit of an odd question. I used to send my husband in a sweet potato for lunch everyday. For some reason, they have tasted really bad lately, so I need to find a replacement. I tried rice, thinking he was heating things up in the microwave. Come to find out, he just eats things cold. A cold sweet potato is good. Cold rice is just gross. He won't eat bread, pasta, or white potatoes.

Does anyone have an suggestions? I'm drawing a blank.

What makeup trends do you hate the most? "Heroin Chic" comes to mind and Angelina Jolie is generally the first person I think of for this style. Possibly because her features can be so severe, and her skin can be quite pale compared to how dark her hair is.

I'm watching The Crown on Netflix!

I'm only 4 episodes in of a 10 episode season but there's a major conflict between Elizabeth being a faithful wife and woman and as a queen -- even directly says it in episode 3.

In the first episode, she uses 'to obey' her husband during her wedding vows and it's remarked upon that she insisted.

Small spoilers for history I guess: At first, she wants their children to take their father's name even though she's Queen, and has to be convinced that to preserve the royal house she can't. She remarks that it's 'his pride and strength' is the manner that attracts her to him. It's definitely played that she had to sacrifice something, her loyalty to her husband, for her role as a queen.

I'm reminded that a long time ago my mother told me that my grandfather or grandmother's favourite royal was Prince Philip. We're Australian, and my grandfather was British and also served in the war so he had a strong allegiance there.

I'm really liking it so far. Good watching! I wanted to make a whole post on it, as it seems like good redpill watching so far. It's probably better as a comment though.

I might have complained about this before but her goes.

It's my husband's birthday in a few weeks time. I had a really tight timeframe to be in the shops today so I only have a few minutes to browse the cards and I was looking specifically for 'Dear Husband' cards not generic birthday cards.

I was disgusted by how many of the cards are cruel and make fun of men. For example one card was just words with no images. It said to the loveliest man in the world, but loveliest was scribbled in and 'luckiest' scratched out. Because on his birthday you should be reminding him how lucky he is to have you, not telling him you love him? Another card was basically along the lines of you'll be much happier if you just do what I tell you hubby.

I know that these are intended to be jokes, but the equivalent doesn't exist in the wife section, I checked. They were all 'to my beautiful wife' etc etc. Can you imagine the outcry if they had the equivalent of 'you'll be a lot happier if you do what I tell you'.

My books arrived! Got all of them for $10 or less because they're second-hand.My Life In France will be a gift for my bf's mom because she loves to cook. I was looking for a decorating book for beginners and Domino came up on Amazon. Gonna spend some time during the holidays trying my hand at it using online simulators. I think Home Comforts was recommended by someone on this sub. It looks like a good book for every household to have.
