I get two glorious days to myself to work on crafts and catch up on some reading time. I've been pinning ideas all year and now I get to play!

It's bonfire night tomorrow, so we'll be setting off fireworks, and standing watching a big fire!

I have kebabs half made and marinade ready, and we will cook some sweetcorn and hotdogs as well :)

I may make toffee if I have time, too.

It is all for the children if anyone asks!

Edit: I did make toffee! I took photos thinking I'd show off, but then realised it looks just like a black slab.....

Oh well, I will just test the lovely toffee to make sure it isn't poisonous

I'm refinishing my kitchen table and I'm hoping to start the polyurethane coats this weekend.

I've got nothing going on except to pick up some ski boots for my sister tomorrow.

Other than that just cooking. My weekends are usually filled so it'll be nice to just relax at home for a change. I've already got the menu set so I'm happy ab that. :D

Started the weekend early and went to an international stout day celebration at a local brewery last night. Tonight we're going to see Hacksaw Ridge. Baby is still in the hospital but we're finding little ways to sneak out and keep our sanity.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind, I am so happy this weekend will be relatively chill!

I do have a few things on the agenda though; I'm putting together a care package to mail to my sister 650 miles away, so I'll get that together by tomorrow morning so I can get it out while we're doing the grocery shopping. We have a lot of yard work to do on Saturday before the football game that evening, too - we seriously got the whole lawn mowed and raked before the baseball game on Tuesday night, and by that time Wednesday evening the whole thing was covered in leaves again.

Sunday, church with the SO's mom and then planning to move their current furniture set over to our house - we're inheriting their stuff which is really nice!

Husband is gone to Japan for three weeks for work, boo hiss. So my weekend is mostly cleaning and gym going. I've gained twenty pounds since I met him two years ago (eek!), and while it looks okay on my frame and I still fall into a healthy BMI, I'd like to be noticeably more hot for when he gets home!

We recently moved, and organizing has been a disaster, especially since we decided to renovate the laundry room on day three, without cleaning up our mess. Whoops, haha! So he's gonna home to the cleanest house and the hottest wife ever! (I hope) My house is finally starting to come together. Heck, I could submit select corners to pinterest, I think.

My MIL cleaned up their spare bedroom, and offered to let me stay with them or borrow a dog if I'm scared or lonely. I lucked out with the in-laws - I love them as if they were my real parents, and they love me as if I were their actual offspring. I'm spending tonight with my mom, and tomorrow with my MIL, so my evenings will be exciting!

Cozy Friday night in with the SO, clothing swap with girlfriends, girls' night with a dear friend I haven't seen in weeks, and a lot of time to just be at home. It's been an insane few weeks, so I can't wait!

I also scooped up a freelance project this past week, so I'm going to spend some time working on that. I'm really excited about it!
