My partner said he will take us on a nice date night next weekend.

Its our first since our baby has been born

I asked him at the time to book the restaurant he had in mind in advance so we know we have a table.

This was a month ago. He still hasnt booked and I looked at the site this morning, theres two tables left to book.

I asked him 2 days ago to book and he said "dont rush me, I will do it, I am going to gym / finishing something / doing whatever first" and then gets irritated that I have asked him. I even said I will do it for him but he got even more annoyed with that...

Do I just book anyway (its a £50 deposit on the place he was taking us) or just accept its likely not going to happen now?
