I just have a quick question regarding my behavior toward my husband.

•What is the problem, and what do you think is the root of the issue?

My hubs has a high stress career, with big clients and financial agencies breathing down his neck all day. He will soon take over his father's business and be top dog at the company.

Because of this, he is understandably worn out when he gets home to change and workout to decompress. I used to ask how his day went, because I'm genuinely curious about his job and I thought I was helping him get things off his chest.

Turns out that's not the case, lol! He fussed at me a few weeks ago, saying he didn't want to talk about his day and if he did he'd tell me so I don't have to ask.

I have no hard feelings about his frustration. I can only imagine what he goes through each day and I'm grateful he kicks ass at what he does.

•How have you contributed/attempted to mitigate the problem?

I've kept my mouth shut and haven't asked him how his day went, made him special dinners, given massages to help with stress and amped up random bedroom activities:p

•What is your current relationship status?

We have been together for 4 years, married for 2 of those.

Really, my question is; Am I doing enough? He seems to be more relaxed now, but I don't know if he feels I'm there for him. Maybe I'm projecting my emotional needs onto him and thinking he doesn't feel connected when in realty he's doing just fine?

What do you think?
