I met this guy on tinder that I used to work with and have a crush on 4 years ago. We’ve been on 3 dates so far and he hasn’t tried to kiss me not even hold my hand. The dates have been quite spaced because I travelled and he did too, so so far I know him for a month or so.

He just got out of a 7yrs relationship and he has been a year single. He says he doesn’t want fwb or one night stand, he is looking for long term.

The thing is, I was so into him on those first dates and I liked him a lot, but now I am not so sure.

Im confused by his behaviour. He doesn’t try anything intimate, but he would text me some things that are quite sexual. He says he is really interested in me, but he doesn’t plan dates, rather he asks me the day of. He texts me that he feels like I am not interested but yet I accept all his dates, compliment him and tell him how much I like spending time with him. He had some needy traits and at the same time he acts like he couldn’t care to see me or not, and that the ball is in my court. I’m used to guys being more assertive and showing me they want me.

Do you guys think I should still give him a shot? Do you think my desire for him will come back if we ever kiss, or is the way I feel now indicative of this probably not working out?

Is it possible for a guy to be intimidated if he thinks a girl is too good for him? Or am I getting attached to a needy man?
