I had the SAME realization a few weeks ago. My brows are thick as caterpillars and I always got praise and envy on my thick brows, but in reality, they looked a little messy and took the attention away from the rest of my face. Finally had the guts to whittle them down and I look noticeably (to me) more feminine and my face looks a lot more balanced. Eyebrows can really make or break your look!

Could you send me photos of the before and after? I’m honestly so insecure about my thinner brows because they look very sparse unless I fill them in. I used to overfill them to be more like the thicker brows trend and ever since I stopped doing that, I feel that my face also looks more feminine but I don’t know if it looks too thin now, especially if I don’t fill them in. I love the slightly arched brows look too, so many actresses from old hollywood in the 40s-60s had awesome brows!

Eyebrows make a huge difference!!! I never realized it before, but looking back at old photos, they do!

I noticed the same thing! I've always had very thick eyebrows, and my mom never let me touch them aside from little plucking to prevent the unibrow lol It had such a hold on me I didn't take the plunge until I was like 23, married and long moved out 😩 But I look soooo much better and my features are so much more balanced and feminine now. I feel like thick eyebrows were just overpowering on my face. Of course, my mom hates it lol

As a person with naturally really thin eyebrows, I am jealous! Funny how we always want what we don’t have haha 😂

I shortened the tail of my brows by maybe a centimeter (kind of a lot, I know) and it de-ages you or something. I guess it makes your face a lot lighter because your brows don’t have that downward motion? I don’t normally wear makeup but my husband thought I had put some on lol

Maybe it's all the pressure from advertising or fashion layouts or some thing or other, but it seems like a LOT of women forget the first principle of makeup or haircuts or colors, etc., and that's the thing about whatever you do, it's supposed to make you look BETTER.

Straight, heavy brows or one-length-fits-all hairstyles are the most common "doubtful" choices I see but they're not the only ones.

At the age of 25, my now husband talked me into getting my eyebrows done. I chose threading because it’s less painful and the difference is ASTOUNDING.
