Hi! I've loved finding this community, it's been very inspiring. I know I want to be a homemaker someday. Problem being I'm pretty clueless. I've never been taught any housekeeping skills and now that I'm 20 and will soon (hopefully) be moving out and I need to know all that stuff, I have no clue where to start. I know nothing about cleaning or doing laundry or cooking anything from scratch (my mom's version of cooking for me has always been just putting nuggets or fish fingers in the oven, so I know how to do that. Not her fault - I was an insanely picky eater as a kid and she just did what she could to get me to eat because I'd refuse anything else, but it's coming back to bite me now, lol). I have expressed wanting to learn and asked her to teach me things but it's never really gone anywhere, so I guess I have to learn by myself. I'm very determined to learn and to one day be the best wife I can be to whoever I end up with. I figured I'd come here for some wisdom. If any of you have any tips or resources or books that could help, I'd be insanely grateful. Thank you! πŸ’–
