Hi ladies! I’ve (33 American female) been dating my boyfriend (47 Japanese male) for seven months now. We met on Tinder and Hinge. He asked me out and we’ve been dating every since. At the end of every date he asks for the next one the following weekend. He asked to be exclusive at one month but I agreed to it at the second month and a month later we were intimate. He pays for all date, gives gifts just because, and is very generous during special occasions. During month four we had a serious conversation about deal breakers. He said his (being disrespectful and sloppiness) mine were not wanting marriage, kids, and belief in God. We’re both divorced and I wanted to make sure I’m not wasting my time at thirty-three years old. He said if the relationship is moving well he is open to marriage, three kids, and converting. Fast forward two months going on three and the relationship is still going strong but I haven’t met his friends/family. I don’t know his timeline and whether marriage is still in the cards for us. I’m coming up on a apartment lease renewal soon (April / May) so I feel like it might be more appropriate to discuss the future then but I’m not sure how to phrase it. I don’t want to give an ultimatum. Please advise and thank you so much in advance!
