Hi y'all! I've recently become concerned over one of my male friends. For some context, we met last year as cast members in a theatre production, and have remained friends since. He's recently moved out (he's a second year university student, and he came straight from high school, making him 19), and I've noticed he's dropped a lot of weight. He mentions that he doesn't eat often, sometimes only a muffin and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich over the course of a day. I can see bones where I definitely have not seen bones before.

I am the older one (21 years old, fourth year university student), and perhaps it's the fact that I'm naturally very nurturing, but I've always been very concerned over my friends and family's wellbeing. The urge to take care of him is very strong, but I wonder... is it my place to do something about it? It's his first time really out on his own, and I don't want him to think I'm looking down on him. If it is my place, how can I get food into him without nagging? Would it be appropriate to cook something for him and bring it to his place? I've never dealt with this situation before, and I definitely need some guidance.
