There has been a recent influx of new posters here. Some have great questions and are willing to learn. However, there are a lot of those who have neither of those qualities about them. So here are my suggestions for before you post.

  1. Read the sidebar/wiki posts. They are there for a reason. RPW has put in a lot of effort into already talking about the feminine frame of mind. Don’t make those efforts wasted because you couldn’t be bothered or didn’t even attempt to internalize RPW tenets. Remember to follow the rules too. There is a lot of material in the sidebar and wiki so this should take up at least 2 weeks of your time.

  2. Read other posts on RPW that are not on the RPW sidebar/wiki. Ask questions in those threads about why other women say the things they say. Participate in discussion. Figure out whether or not RPW is for you to begin with. We are not /r/relationships. We are not /r/askwomen. Our brand of love is Tough Love and TRP is a HARD pill to swallow. That is the truth of it.

  3. Read the posts of other endorsed contributors and mods. There are posts on there that are not on the sidebar but are very very informative and can bring you one step closer to internalizing the concepts put forth here. Be a creeper, we don’t mind :)

  4. Personally I would recommend reading the Surrendered Single and/or the Surrendered Wife depending on what stage of relationship you are at (ie single vs in a relationship). I really loved this series and she gives some very practical advice about how to navigate both instances.

  5. Use the search bar for keywords to your questions. “makeup”, “cheating”, “vegan” or whatever you have come here for. Look before you leap. We understand you may be anxious to find an answer now but another two minutes to search will not ruin your life or exacerbate your problem.

TL;DR Do your homework, know your audience, and then ask away.
