A couple of months ago, I told my boyfriend that I would make it a point to never badmouth him, especially in front of others. He was a bit puzzled because I said it completely out of the blue, but he accepted it and moved on.

Fast-forward to last night, when we were at a friend's birthday party. One of the couples there were verbally fighting over how the guy jokingly said, "Well, I guess I'm stuck with this old bitch for life." It might have been funny if it weren't for the fact that they are engaged and are supposed to be married this October (trouble in paradise?).

After we left the party and were on our way home, my SO said, "You know, I'm really glad that you don't say anything bad about me in public. If I were the girl, I'd never say anything to you but it would hurt." I thought my heart would burst! It's hard to describe how good his verbal affirmation felt :)

My husband is very appreciative of my work as a homemaker. He likes to send me romantic texts every day. His last text said "I enjoyed our dinner last night. I have a wonderful wife-beautiful and a great cook."

I approach my homemaking duties like a career. Because my husband loves to eat and he feels loved when I cook for him, I make it a point to look for new recipes to surprise him with.

If you have a good Alpha male in your life, take care of your man and he will take care of you too.

I've (23) been in an LTR for about 1.5 years with a very Alpha Male(30). I tell Him everything constantly, as that was agreed upon when we first started dating. (He will only comment on things of interest, but enjoys having all of the information available.) So, I told Him that I had been .. Ah, 'enjoying' reading TRP, and then from there I ended up navigating through most of its content, and finding RPW. I was initially uninterested- I cannot biologically have children, and He does not want them anyway, and I felt that it was not a community that I could ever fully participate in due to the value placed on motherhood. But being the information sponge that I am, I still read everything I could get my hands on.

I decided to try applying the principles to my life, starting first with putting together a meal plan/cooking every night, wearing makeup every day, and making an effort to not correct Him or argue with Him. He noticed almost immediately, praising me for each thing, and slowly the changes crept in. Over the next several weeks, He told me that He loved me more than He ever has before, and that He wanted me to read Red Pill theory, posts, blogs, etc every night. So I lurk every night, and Our relationship continues to get stronger and more passionate. We work out together, and set goals together, eat meals together now.. And it doesn't feel forced at all. He is less stressed and that makes me less stressed.

Bragging on my fiancee:

To make this short, there was a situation we were talking about some of her female friends bad-mouthing their boyfriends/husbands. My SO was complaining about how uncomfortable it was because of how long it went on and how she felt like everyone was giving her side eye for not taking part.

She started into this really sarcastic bit about what she would say if she had to come up with something. She said something like, "Oh I know girl! I told redpillnobody there was a spider in the kitchen the other day, and he killed it with a paper towel. I can't believe he didn't use toilet paper. Men just can't do anything right," complete with hand gestures and over-the-top facial expressions.

It was great.

I've started cooking dinner and weekend breakfast for us. It's an all around win because we are saving money, eating better, and my bf is SO appreciative. Says thank you multiple times during meals. And with breakfast it's making us get up at a decent time so we are more active during the day.

I genuinely enjoy it because I'm learning new skills, building my recipe book, and it makes him so happy. He was actually bragging to his mom about how great my cooking is!

Last Saturday was the annual church camp out at a local campground. There were quite a few people from our congregation there and it's just a fun weekend to fellowship with people from our church.

I'm supposed to be on partial bed rest, (ask how well that went those few days) and so I was sitting with my MIL and one of her good friends and my husband. One of my step sons zoomed by us and I reminded my husband he needed sunblock on. DH chased after him and about 10 feet away from us stood there while a very unhappy 5 year old got sprayed with sunblock.

One of the ladies watching my husband remarked, "I didn't think men knew how to apply sunblock to children." I looked at her thinking she was kidding and I replied, "well it isn't rocket science," to which she replied, "I'd never trust my husband to do that, he'd forget or wouldn't put enough on." She then walked away, back to the other side of the campground.

I gave my MIL a look and she smiled. Her friend made a comment and I said, "I look at it like this - my husband goes out into the world and makes decisions all day, for 8-10 hours without me. He still has a job and none of us have died. Why would I think he's any less capable of doing things at home?" She thought about it for a minute and said, "That's a very good way of looking at things. You're pretty smart for being married for such a short time!"

At this point my husband came back and she told my husband that he was lucky to have found 'such a rare breed'. DH had no idea about the conversations we'd just had but he shrugged and goes "yeah I know. I mostly just try to keep up with her."

I'm was really pleased with the result of serving a surprise dessert on a regular work night supper. Made a black bean chocolate cake with chocolate drizzle and some chocolate dipped strawberries. He said, "I wasn't expecting dessert! Did you make this?!". Felt great to go beyond his expectations. I also learned to make a Caesar the other night and had one ready for him after work. I don't drink so I often forget about the enjoyment he can get from a nice drink after a long day.

I actually have been very conscious of how much I swear. I didn't think I was doing it a lot, but every now and then when something goes wrong I'll let out a curse. I'm trying to be more conscious of it and eliminating those words from my vocabulary.

I also realized how much of a drama queen I am. Every little thing that goes wrong, I start freaking out. I either get angry or start crying. But a good step in the right direction. The other day, my USB went missing with all my files. I went into panic mode, thought someone stole it, and just started freaking out. Then I calmed myself down and said "No, I know it'll turn up. It's not that big of a deal". I think proceeded with my day. It did turn up. I'm learning to stay calm.

The first step, for me, is realizing what I'm doing and changing it. So that's a mini victory for me.

I made a post two weeks ago right here I mentioned how I don't put a lot of effort into my looks, etc, etc. I've made an effort to dress up more, be nicer, stfu rather than being bitchy, put a little bit makeup on, etc. I've completely felt myself sky rocket. I'm still working on losing weight, but I already feel a little bit better about myself. I think it just shows that even a little bit of maintenance on yourself can make yourself feel (and look) 10x better.

Minutes before a final exam starts me and the other students are waiting, i hear 2 girls next to me revising what i considered to be some very detailed aspects of the subject we are being examined in, i was impressed, not for long though as it all went away after i took a look at them, whereas i was captivated before by women who were not very smart or educated.

Moral: your intelligence matters, secondarily.
