Everything counts, but you can clarify exactly to the man too because most would prefer to know that instead of having intercourse with 6 guys, you actually gave hand jobs to four and had sex with 2.

Keep in mind that most guys more or less expect a woman to lie about her count. If you have a good reputation among friends and with him (honest) then he'll be more likely to take you at your word.

Reasonable N count also depends on age. If you are 25, then anything under 5 is pretty uncommon. The importance of N count also becomes unimportant after 30. Even if a woman is a 31 year old virgin, no man will care. By 'care' I mean "he will be willing to work hard, and wait for her." Virginity is only prized when the woman is young, and becomes a 'weirdness' factor after 26. The exception to this would be the very religious, but those people tend to marry young.

As a general rule, if you're not sure, it counts. But I would worry less about the exact number and worry more about finding a healthy relationship and maintaining it. I think people sometimes get fixated on the exact number, like how people get fixated on exactly how much they weigh instead of just trying to get their body composition to where they like the way they look.

If a cock has entered any hole of your body, it counts - any form of "sex". This is the answer men will give. Honestly I have only considered vaginal or anal sex to count. As you get older, it matters less. I am not looking to start a family or get married so the rule is - don't talk about your sexual past because men wont believe anything you tell them and looks and agency matters more than anything you did or didn't do 20 + years ago

From what I've seen, N count isn't as important as attractiveness. For normal men, seems like priorities rank like - 1. Appearance 2. Personality 3. Loyalty 4. N count A hot woman with a higher N than an ugly one will still get commitment a lot more easily (unless she wears horrible slutty clothing style/ has extremely high N and incurable std's like Paris Hilton supposedly has). Anyone who says the ugly girl with the lower N will get commitment more easily is fooling themselves. I'm sure there are plenty of women who have been fat and homely their whole life and have only slept with 1-2 men by the time they are 25. Do high quality men want these women just because they have low N? No. High quality men look at appearance and personality first and foremost. And also loyalty, it's possible a woman with a low N could not be loyal enough, as in she doesn't give him enough sex or doesn't give her man enough attention. Sometimes a very low N by a certain age can even be indicative of lack of interest in sex and so she won't put out enough (not always, obviously).

I've always been skeptical of the "only PiV counts" approach. For me, as a bi woman, it just seems disingenuous. Using that definition would roughly halve my N-count and completely ignore a ten-year relationship with my ex-wife.
