I’ve been lurking for awhile, but I think I’ve come across my first real relationship blunder. I’ve been on Tinder for awhile, and it’s fine. I get matches and talk to guys, but it never seems to go anywhere. It seems as if the conversation ends when I bring up my conservative values. I never go too far, just let them know that I don’t sleep around and that I am religious (which for a 20-year-old college student is practically right of Mussolini).

I was chatting with this guy, and he told me that I wasn’t the type of girl he would date in college, rather, the type of girl he’d date to marry. He said that guys would become more interested in a more conservative, traditional woman as they age. But as I age, my SMV will decrease while theirs will only increase.

At 20, I’ve only had one serious boyfriend and I am worried that I’ll never find someone. I try to follow the advice you guys give (dress more feminine, educate myself, etc.) but it’s leading nowhere it seems. What should I do?
