I'm pretty new to lingerie in an attempt to be more feminine, and only own one or two pieces that have that loose drapey chiffon material like a short dress. Recently I bought a new piece of lingerie that was more form-fitting and i slipped it on while my guy was making some drinks on friday night. He looked over just as i finished putting it on and was immediately like "WOW! ...fuck the drinks!" and rushed over to have a look. It was like casting a spell on him :D

I actually got up early today, even though I slept horribly, in order to work out. Ive been saying that I'm going to go this for months. Im not really good at self love, I always put myself last so this is a big accomplishment for me. ❣️

Went on a coffee date with somebody I met online. I'm pretty sure he was thinking out loud when he mumbled that I didn't have an "attitude problem like a lot of other women." I didn't want to perpetuate the negativity, so I deflected with, "well, different people have different circumstances." Aside from that, I didn't meet his expectations, and I'm okay with that. He's a local (aboriginal!) who's looking for an Asian woman who's fresh off the plane, or a new immigrant, and I just can't be that.

I got divorced last Sept and this past Saturday would have been my 11th anniversary. Instead of moping (I've actually gotten over it), I started my "Journey of Aloneness" which is a list of things that I'm uncomfortable doing alone, and doing them. So Friday night I stepped out of my comfort zone and took myself out to a nice dinner alone.

It was delicious! Grilled mozzarella cheese appetizer, filet Mignon with organic vegetables and amazing scalloped potatoes, and peach bread pudding for dessert.

The next day I joined a group of people where I only knew my friend and cheered on the local soccer team in the crazy fan section which was SUPER fun! On Sunday I joined a coworker and her group of family /friends at Lake Tahoe for the day and also had a blast.

So whether alone or with others, I'm trying to do things I want to do and enjoy myself as I discover who I am on my own. :)

I started my first week long vacation since opening my business... in the year 2000! There's a band touring that I really want to see, and a Tough Mudder race the following weekend, so I went ahead and bought tickets! Flying halfway across the country for a week in the Rocky Mountains, at very high altitude near the Continental Divide. I've always wanted to visit and explore this area. The band is Caravan Palace, an Electro-Swing band on tour from France.

It's a culmination of years of hard work on the business, and the new physical goals I've been working on this year. This being Reddit, I rate it 7/9 with rice.

Over the weekend I went camping with my boyfriend and his friend. We agreed no PDA so his friend wouldn't feel like a third wheel. We usually are very affectionate so it was a struggle for both of us. While I was reading my bf had blown up a small inflatable boat and insisted I go with him. He rowed us out to a small lagoon so we could kiss in private. It was very cute and romantic. :)

Worked from home yesterday and took the opportunity to go do groceries and clean around the house as a lunch break. I worked a bit faster than usual to stop 30 mins sooner, splashed some water on my face, put on some nice music and started cooking.

The nice music and the fact that I'd given myself the time to get everything done on a comfortable pace made me really happy. By the time my bf came home, everything was already on the stove and under control. He commented on how nice it was to come home to this and wanted to eat at the kitchen table (instead of the couch, his usual favourite) and started talking to me about his day.

He patiently waited for me to finish eating too and when I got up to clear the table, he swooped me off my feet, started dancing with me while declaring how much he loves me, and after a few minutes got a little friskier with dancing, eventually taking us to the bedroom.

I hung up the poster my step dad bought me for graduation and am organizing and cleaning my apartment. I also bought a tripod for my new DSLR!

I learned how to make pasta from scratch! I'm just now teaching myself how to cook, so I asked a woman I admire to show me the ropes. I was nervous because I'm such a beginner and she was proposing a pretty advanced menu, but not only was it delicious- it was a blast! The best part was getting to serve our men a fresh 4 course meal that we had made totally from scratch after one of their late nights at work.

Had a really connective time with my captain, built trusty and intimacy.

Was able to make money at an event that's always been a black hole for money and emotions. Changing how I think about events...
