First, Kill All the Marriage Counselors by Laura Doyle

This book is all about steps YOU can take to build intimacy in your relationship. Laura focuses on the Six Intimacy Skills, all of which will empower you to create the sweet, loving marriage you want! I loved how much this book gave you the power to make changes.

The Surrendered Wife By Laura Doyle

Another classic. This one talks about the beauty of trusting your SO and creating a loving, sweet, intimate relationship where you feel adored and your man feels empowered. It's a great read.

Happier at Home by Gretchen Rubin

Rubin experiments with anecdotal advice and formal research about how to create a happier home and reports her findings. Her writing is honest, warm, and genuine, and reading her books is like having a conversation with a friend. She has a lot of different and creative ideas for how to make your home a wonderful, welcoming place! A different kind of homemaking book.

I don't think I've seen this suggested anywhere, but while RPW books like "Surrendered Single" were great mindset shifters, the book that actually has provided the greatest insight into actually CHANGING myself is "The Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg. It's a fantastic read for anyone looking to build some of the wonderful red pill "changes" into their lives and making it stick, like working out or keeping organized, focusing on a hobby, etc.

I've mentioned this one before and it's the only one I really have to add, but I think it would be great for the women who share a story of a friend who constantly complains that there are no good men out there, but doesn't see that she's being unreasonable.

Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough, by Lori Gottlieb

Another reader commented that she'd read this and loved it, but essentially the book is a message from a 40 something single woman who thought she knew it all when she was younger. She turned down good men left and right, because she knew someone better would come along. Now that she's had a baby from in vitro fertilization and hit 40, she realizes all she did wrong and is warning against the same choices from young women. Topics include the idea that a 40 year old man doesn't have to date a 40 year old woman, when he can date a 32 year old, who can still have kids. She also addresses the idea of women setting unreasonable standards, such as height and hairline, thinking they'll find the man they pictured marrying when they were teenagers, not realizing they were picturing a 26 year old prince charming. She even talks about the fact that women's friends will always tell them they've done nothing wrong and how this enabling makes the problem worth. It's a great cautionary tale of entitlement and over inflated self worth.

I love to read, here are some I like:

The Six Battles Every Man Must Win - It's from a Christian perspective but the wisdom applies to every good man. Read it to understand what men struggle with in their lives.
On the same note I strongly recommend "The Things they Carried" and "On Killing" if you're dating/married to a guy in the military. IME these guys are a little weirder than the general population, definitely more walled off, and these books help explain the military perspective.
The Mastery of Love - This is the sequel to The Four Agreements, but I like this one much better. It's perfect for anyone experiencing trouble in relationships like breakups, unrequited love, or a rough patch. A little woo-woo (it's marketed as "ancient Toltec wisdom") but really gets to the heart about pain in relationships.
Why Men Love Bitches - Everybody hates the title, but the book is good, especially if you are kind of a doormat or lack an "abundance mentality" when dating.
Steve Harvey's book "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" - Surprisingly full of wisdom, I especially like how he gives it to you straight about what men are thinking, and sex. I especially recommend this for people from liberal/promiscuous/hook up culture communities, as Steve Harvey is more aware of people coming from that and STILL advocates traditional gender roles. STRONGLY recommended for single moms.
Getting to "I Do" - It's not my favorite of all women oriented dating advice books, but if you are wondering why you aren't married, she gives it to you straight. Of Course read Laura Doyle and any other popular titles like "Mars & Venus" while you pick this one up, they all kind of say the same thing in a different way.
My favorite dating and femininity advice comes from this blog, "The Feminine Woman" by Renee Wade.
Art of Seduction by Robert Greene if you like long books.
For women in relationships may I suggest erotic literature, it will keep your imagination in the bedroom sharp and if your husband is into it you can use the scenes for roleplay. I like it better than romance because the characters in erotica are so flat, you're definitely fantasizing about the naughty acts and not comparing your guy to the guy in the story. Not all of it is good though, it's mostly trash. (The problem with the internet is you can stumble on some weird shit.) Harlequin and like publishers have "levels" from strict romance all the way to naughty stuff, depending on what you're comfortable with.
I like to read biographies of famous women too. My favorite is to read about Geisha and medieval royalty. Women who used their femininity and struggled in a totally different way than we do now (try Sex and the Queen, of course red pillers will cry about it, but it's interesting to see how the "beta cucks, alpha fucks" dynamic applied to women in arranged marriages who fell in love with their sexy knight bodyguard than the old, insane, often impotent king they were married to.)

I really liked "The Secret Lives of Wives" by Iris Krasnow. It contains interviews from women with vastly different types of marriages - successful arranged marriages, fairytale til-death-do-us-part elderly couples, women who stayed despite adultery or abuse, polygamous couples, women in meh marriages who are working on making them better. The common theme tying them together is that they have chosen to stay in their marriages despite whatever unhappiness or difficulties they face, some resorting to unethical means (adultery).

What I like about this book is that the author does not judge the women but simply tells their stories for readers to form their own conclusions about them, much like the Humans of New York page. They are frank accounts of real marriages that the women might not otherwise be comfortable talking about in mainstream media, for fear of backlash. The main takeaway from the book is that you should not depend on your partner for happiness and completeness, and should find ways to fulfill yourself outside of your marriage. This is in contrast to the mainstream narrative that people marry their soulmate and live happily ever after. As someone who has never been married, it gave me a good idea of what kind of mindset I should have entering a marriage.
