Thoughts on hose?

I love stockings! I live in FL and I wore them to work from fall to early spring with high heels. I feel like bare legs are too intimate for the office setting. Also, when you undress at home... oh, so sexy! One of my favorite outfits was a high waisted pencil skirt that went slightly below the knee, silk blouse, stockings (not sheer though), and pointy high heels. I doubt I looked like a 60+ lady :)

I personally enjoy wearing hose when I'm in more formal business attire or dressing up for a night on the town, but if it's casual, very rarely, and even then, mostly in the colder months. But it's your personal choice! Do what makes you comfortable :)

When I'm wearing close toed heals I do. It helps protect your shoes. I do wear tights in the fall/winter like others are saying. I think if you wear the right ones for your skin tone you don't look dated. For church then yes always in hose.

I'm 24. I wear them when it's not too hot out in the spring or fall, but especially I will wear them in the winter. I love that they help with rubbing in my flats and heels. I also have some scars on my legs that I sometimes prefer to disguise a little.

Sheer black hose can be a dated look if you aren't very careful. A good nude hose is still fine, in my opinion. They only look weird or fake when you buy poor quality hose that don't match your skin tone. Keeping your toenails trimmed and filed really helps with running. If you buy nicer, expensive hose, consider putting them on with gloves to help prevent snags.

Wear them if you want.

I rarely wear pantyhose but I have a ridiculous number of pairs of tights in a bunch of different colors and patterns. I think they're cute, youthful, and they help preserve my modesty in dresses and skirts while keeping my legs warm.

Personal choice. I like bare legs but will wear nude/transparent (not shiny or tan) hose if wearing closed toe shoes (to prevent stinkiness) or in that odd in between late spring weather where it's hot enough for dresses but not quite for bare legs

I wear skirts and dresses almost every day and I NEVER wear hose. During the cold months, tights; but never hose. I'm 26, not 62.

Never. Not ever. Looks weirdly fake, expensive as I tear it often, and just plain uncomfortable.

Just say no to hose.

I just started working in banking, so I have to wear hose if I'm wearing skirts, dresses, or even a pants/shoe combo that shows the top of my feet; other than that, my husband likes to be able to run his hand up my legs because he says they're very soft & smooth. :)

With full-length pantyhose, though, I always seem to end up with runs at the panty seams, runs that make their way down to visible areas very quickly, so I tend to go for thigh-highs or knee-highs. Less tugging, fewer runs, money saved. :)

I went to beauty school and it is a big no-no (aka you get sent home) if you do not wear some kind of hose or leggings under skirts and dresses. Small details can really make or break an outfit.

I'll wear it in the Fall, higher denier tights in the Winter.

Other than that, no thanks. You can dress conservatively without it.

Besides, if you're not doing it correctly, pantyhose can really age a look.
