What is your beauty routine?

I'm a pretty low-maintenance, but I like to think well presented, woman.

Hair: wash every 3-4 days, dry shampoo on day 3 if need be, air dry, apply some sort of treatment through the ends (argan oil usually), then a basic style (down, braids, a bun or a bouncy pony tail). Sometimes I pop a hair flower in there because I like to think I'm a princess/fairy. It doesn't have to be complicated to be feminine. 10m each day.
Makeup: every day: spf day cream or tinted sunscreen, eyebrow powder (most people can skip this) and a little eyeliner/slight shadow over the lids. Tinted lip balm. Concealer if necessary. 10m each day.
Makeup: special occasion: the above + a light base of BB cream + a dust of powder + highlighting one feature - eyes with a cat eye or lips with bright color. 20-30m.
Nails: cut/shape each week, usually a soft color polish on a Sunday night and touched up mid-week. I use OPI or Sally Hansen. 40m on Sunday, usually watching TV too.
Skin: exfoliate in the shower (with something like St Ives apricot scrub) on the days that I'm washing my hair. Wipe face with warm water on a makeup pad in the evenings. Night cream before sleep. 5m each day.
Body hair: I don't have much, but: pluck eyebrows once a week (10m), shave legs and underarms once a week (15m), trim lady garden about once a fortnight/month. (I told you I was low maintenance).

I have to pull an all nighter and I love making lists, so this is going to be a long one. :D

Hair care

I wash my hair every 3 days (4 if I'm not going anywhere that 3rd day). I use Granier Ultra Doux with avocado oil and shea butter shampoo and mask. After that I'll spray Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Million Gloss Express Repair Conditioner Spray. Then I usually do other stuff and let it dry naturally a little, 15-20 min (I usually do my makeup then since the heat from the blow dryer I use afterwards helps it settle well) and after that brush it. After that I'll just blow dry it. My hair is quite thick so it stays straight because of the weight, so there's no need to use any brush or straighteners. At the end, I put just a little bit of usually vanilla or, less often, almond oil and spray it with Nivea Volume Sensation Hairspray. It gives it nice volume and polished look.

All this takes a little more than an hour. It takes me 20-30min to blow dry my hair and it's going to be hell in the summer.

When my mom has time, she helps me curl my hair. I use hair sticks for that. It's a great technique since it works no matter when I washed my hair and it doesn't require any heat, and it will look great until it's time to wash again. Basically, what we do is use that Gliss Kur hair spray to make it a bit wet, then curl and end up with hairspray. The least I've had them was a few hours, but I think it can work with even less time.

Every month or so I dye my hair. I do it at home. I like L'Oreal hair dyes but this time I'm using some other brand (I think it's from my country so there's no point in putting the link). Usually, after that I'll use additional hair masks (same brand again).

Also, I take vitamin B every day.

Skin care - morning

When I wake up I clean my face with Nivea Micellar Water and put coconut oil on my face. I keep it on while I'm drinking coffee, making plans and so on, so usually around 30min, sometimes even an hour if I have more time to waste. After that I wash my face with Neutrogena Face Wash. Then I use some serum with Q10 and hyaluronic acid and anti age cream with vitamins A, E and D. Some 20-30 min later I'll put some hydrating cream with cucumber using face brush and give myself some face massage.

Also, in the morning I drink spearmint tea (great for skin, someone here recommended it, thank you for that and I'm sorry I forgot your username). Also vitamin C and multivitamin complex.

Recently I've started doing face yoga (I have PDF book, I can post it if any of you want since nobody's seeding on piratebay), but I can't tell if it's working yet.

Skin care - afternoon

By afternoon I mean coming home after school or any other daily activities. First thing I'll do is remove my makeup. I use Nivea eye makeup remover and some lotion with chamomile. Afterwards I'll go through all with micellar water to make sure it's clean and use the face wash. Then I use Nivea hydrating cream.

Skin care - evening

Remove makeup if needed like in the afternoon, if not then just clean with micellar water and wash face. Then the same serum and anti age cream as in the morning. I will also put some castor oil on the eyelashes and this lip gloss that's supposed to plump your lips after a month of regular use. From my experience lips are indeed a bit plumper in the morning, but nothing spectacular. Not sure if I'm going to buy it again.

And, of course, try to get 8 hours of sleep and drink 3 l of water.

Skin care - weekly

I just love Garnier mask. I've been using it since elementary school and it can't be replaced. I also use different kinds of hydrating masks and I have some with green tea extract and vitamin C. I use them every time before washing my hair since it's easier to take them off in the shower. I also like charcoal pill off mask, although it hurts when taking it off.

I've recently discoverer this amazing DIY face mask. It's made from aspirin pills (just put a little water and a few pills to get pasty texture) and you can add honey.

Body skin and hair care

I just love this baby body lotion. It makes skin so soft and defined and it dries very fast. I also like Dove pure pampering cream, it has better smell, but it kinda of makes me sweaty. But the same body wash is great.

Once a week I'll do a piling, I make one by mixing coconut oil and sugar. It's quite good.

When it comes to hair I prefer using razors since there's no pain or waiting for hair to grow. I also like to remove hair from everywhere, just in case. I shave underarms every day, intimate parts every 2-3 days and legs and hands once or twice a week. My hair grows very fast, great for the one on the head, but sucks for body hair.

As far as deodorants are concerned, I can't praise this one enough. The smell is just amazing. I used to put it before going to the beach, and after hours on the beach, swimming, playing volleyball, it still had nice smell. A bit more expensive (around 5 dollars) than the other ones but just perfect for the summer.

The same company has great perfumes too, and the price is very good (around 10 dollars) .Highly recommend it.

Manicure and pedicure

I use Nivea anti age hand cream throughout the day.

I like Golden Rose Rich Color and Essence The Gel nail polishes. Essence takes ages to dry, especially light colors that need to be put a few times, but it stays on forever so it's fine. Also, they have very nice soft colors and are quite cheap. Every two weeks I'll do the nails and if needed I'll just put another thin layer in between.

Every two weeks I'll soak and scrub them and put some feet cream. As for the polish, I just keep it on for a month, even two.

Makeup

For every day I use L'Oreal BB cream. I put it on every day before I go anywhere since it has SPF and it's very light. I really liked Garnier Primer, but they don't sell it in my country anymore. If you can get it, I highly recommend it. I put a bit of bronzing powder, fill in my brows with eyebrow pencil and use eyelash curler. I used to use Maybelline falsies mascara for 5 years, but just a few months ago they stopped selling it here so I use Maybelline volume mascara but I put it with a brush of this old one. Works perfectly. And some lipstick, I like Aura's lipsticks.

If I'm going out I'll use eyeliner and/or nude eye shadows from essense.

Haircare: Shampoo, hair mask, argan oil serum, blow dry, clean up any kinky bits with a straightener, run through again with a dab of oil. Sometimes for fun I will curl my hair.

Makeup: Sunscreen, BB balm, eyeshadow (two shades for contour), curl eyelashes, lash maximizer, two coats of mascara, eyebrow pencil, lip balm, perfume. Sometimes for fun I will add cheek stain or a bright lip gloss.

If I shower and blow dry, it takes me an hour from beginning to end. If I don't wash/blowdry my hair it takes me 40 min. I wash my hair every other day because it's very dry.

I prefer clean, elegant, classic makeup and hairstyle. I find that too much makeup can make you look older and I prefer to keep my natural beauty healthy and shining. That comes from diet, exercise, sleep, good skincare and smiles.

I def do the 2 cleanse at night followed by rentinol or vit c plus moturizer. Don't wash my face in the am. Don't wan lose the products. I wear at least a bb cream with spf daily. Tad of highlight combined with a liquid blush.

I recently taught myself to thread my own brows so that's been a learning curve. Do that 1 x per week.

I wash my hair every 3 days. I usually put coconut oil on my dry hair before I shampoo. Followed by RoC gel conditioner.

Hair : Wash whole head every other or third, fourth day. Wash scalp daily to every other day. I have long hair so I just braid it and rinse only the scalp. Condition, detangle, rinse, apply more conditioner, scrunch in water and mousse or gel. Air dry or blowdry roots only. I don't dye or heatstyle. Oh and I damped my hair slightly every day and re-apply some conditioner or even mousse.

Makeup: I don't wear so much. Mostly just eye makeup and sometimes a bit of foundation. I do wear sunscreen every single day and since it can dry shiny, I wear powder.

Nails: Ugh. Clip them short, keep clean and occasionally I use a white pencil underneath. I recently stopped polishing them. Protect with spf and clothing outside and wear gloves to do housework. Feet I moisturize every night and keep my toenails clipped and polished.

Skin on body: Nothing much. Just wash and use whatever lotion after bathing. Sunscreen.

Body hair: My eyebrows are a constant battle. I shave when I need it and I shave literally everything. Even the tiniest hairs bother me :D

Skin: I go wild. Sunscreen everyday, retinoids at night, AHA, double cleansing, multiple moisturizers, 3 skin method... I do visit the Asian beauty and skincare addiction subreddit a lot.

I rarely if ever wear makeup. I do however cleanse and moisturize my face every few days. I always make sure I don't have thick eyebrows. I have waist length hair. It's so naturally dry that I only need to wash it about once a week. I whiten my teeth with coconut oil whenever they start to look too yellow. I epilate my body hair about once or twice a week. I do a variety of things with my hair but I usually wear it down or I put pins in it.

I spray tan! Lol!

I know it sounds ridiculous but I never get to go outside anymore with the job I have so my natural tan faded a lot. I love it because I literally have to wear zero makeup with it

For work I'm in scrubs with my hair up so not much of a routine there... lol

When I go out with my friends I'm way dressier. They dress up A LOT so it's hard to keep up sometimes. I flat iron my hair hardcore because it doesn't look long otherwise. It's been easier to manage since I quit putting highlights in it. Looks way healthier now and back to its natural chestnut color. I'd say it takes me much less long than an average girl to get ready because I have a pretty good natural look goin' on lol

It didn't always used to be that way until I learned beauty comes from the inside (emotional and physical health) and not out (makeup, contouring, hair dye, etc is all added-on junk that isnt necessary)

I shower and wash my hair at night and sleep on it damp to help give it some volume. I use Clinique makeup remover balm to get my makeup and sunscreen off (so important!) I wash my face with Eminence cleanser every evening. After I get out of the shower I put on Eminence moisturizer and eye cream. I use LivingProof curl cream. I have a fairly intense dental hygiene routine before bed. I slather my lips in balm after. I also use a wooden cuticle stick to push back my cuticles and use Burts Bees cuticle cream and hand cream every night. This step is crucial to keeping my hands nice. In the morning.... I slash my face with cool water and then moisturizer. I put SPF 55 on. After it dries down I use makeup. I am always going for a "my face but fresher and more rested" look. -primer - foundation mixed with a drop of liquid highlighter - under eye concealer and brightener - fill in brows lightly with pencil - curl lashes - light wash of taupe on my lids and blend like heck - natural brown eyeliner smudged with an angle brush. - a sweep of pink blush - raspberry color tinted lip balm

My hair is naturally wavy and I wear it pinned up in a loose romantic updo. My whole aim is "meticulous woman who looks like she just met her lover." So tousled curls, flushed cheeks and natural moist flushed lips. My whole look takes 25 minutes including skincare, hair and getting dressed. Once a week (usually on Sunday evening) I'll take a hot bath and re do my pedicure (glossy classic red), shave everything that needs shaving, do a face mask and exfoliate with a homemade sugar scrub. My skin and hair tends to get pretty oily and I'm a nervous sweater (sexy I know). My hair is thin so prone even more so to greasiness, and doesn't do well looking nice the next day mostly cause I destroy it in my sleep. I wash my hair almost every day, which is terrible...but I try to was it every other day. I don't use much conditioner, but I do use a leave in conditioner or "it's a ten" to detangle my hair and help with blowing it out. I usually straighten it or curl it. I find curling it helps it hold a style longer/overnight so I can go more time without washing.
After I shower I put rose hip oil all over my face. I let it seep in while I comb the leave in conditioner. It absorbs really quickly, after that apply revlon foundation to my entire face with a silicone sponge, then I set it with powder. I like using lip stick as blush because so many blushes just don't give me the look I want. You got to be careful, though. I usually wear a highlighter on my cheek bones, wing eyeliner, mascara, and a brow dip. All of my makeup is drug store or amazon. If I am going out I will put on lipstick and or eyeshadow. I wear makeup every day even if I am not doing anything that day. I also sprit myself with some kind of perfume cause I feel like people find you overall more pleasant when you smell good.

I'm really really into skin care so I'm always doing peels and sheet masks. my absolute go-to fave tho is a cucumber peel. I'll do a mask around 3x a week. my routine is pretty much toner (witch hazel), then moisturizer (bio oil) and then sunscreen (neutrogena ultra-sheer). at night i'll add vitamin C. i'm loving my skin. i've started to tan again though - I know it's bad - it's a guilty pleasure of mine. I try not to go too much or for too long. for my body, I'll rub coconut oil or cocoa butter from my neck down. lately it's the cocunut oil. every few days I'll use a chemical exfoliant (sp?) on the skin on my body. I spray rose water on my face randomly throughout the day - absolutely love it.

for every day makeup, I use armani luminous silk foundation (this is a REALLY light foundation) and some blush (nars orgasm) and fill in my brows a little if I feel like it - I don't really need to. when I go out, I'll put on more foundation and I'll add some eyeliner, bronzer, mascara and highlight - I like to have fun with makeup and do it up when I'm going to an event or whatever.

my hair is usually down and straight (I've been getting keratin treatments done) but sometimes I curl it. I only wash it every three or four days. I'll put it up in a cute top knot on the last day.

I get my nails done every three weeks... honestly I probably spoil myself a little too much but hey, it's my money.

I use a natural mineral powder every day dusted over with mascara,some blush and a nice warm lip colour. I use a natural (no chemicals) sunscreen everyday too. I have a shower everyday with natural lavender and Chamomille wash again no chemicals. That's all. I wouldn't dream of using most products available in store,nothing but harsh chemicals.

Haircare: I have shoulder length, straight, fine, oily hair. Never dyed it(hopefully never will, at least for the next 20 or so years), I wash it every other day, use a blow dryer to dry it every time, then a wooden comb, and apply an argan oil mask once a week. From time to time I also use dry shampoo for texture and a bit of volume, as a milder alterntive to hairspray. I have three main hairstyles I do on a regular basis: messy bun( with a hair donut), pony tail and loose( I always straighten it out in this case, either with a rotating hot-air brush or a flat iron). For an event or a fancy night out, I try to do some curls then wrap it all in a loose bun or chignon with a nice hair accessory.

Skincare: My skin is oily, very sensitive, breaks out easily and looks dull, I am prone to blackheads and whiteheads, ingrown hairs, it's a real pain to take care of it. Got a complex routine using exfoliants( both BHA - use it on some parts of my body as well and AHA) and retinol. I also use a mild face scrub twice a week and a loofah every day on my body, when showering(the only way I can keep the ingrown hairs and the painful pimples that come with them - even on my legs, at bay). I try get my 8 1/2 hours of sleep every night, moisturize properly, use a high SPF moisturizer(50+) on my face every day, all year round and drink lots of water. Also use a clay mask maybe once a week (sometimes I apply it on my back, arms, buttocks and legs too) and sunflower oil patches for my dark circles.

Make-up: Don't wear it daily, yet I'm in the process of learning 2 flattering eye make-ups I can use for events/nights out. A simple every-day look that I sometimes do is foundation, concealer, mattifying powder, a touch of blush and mascara.

Nails: I keep my fingernails short, bright colored with rounded edges. Cut, file and push back the cuticles once a week, then apply a base and two layers of color. For my toenails, I just cut, file, push cuticles and apply a very light milky base once every two weeks.

Hair Care: I wash every 3-4 days, and I deep condition my hair after using conditioner. My natural hair is very curly and biracial textured, so I need to tame it. In the shower, I comb it, and after the shower, I towel dry with a micro-fibre towel- it has to be a special material for my hair, and I wait an hour, and spray water on it, and braid it into dutch braids. I then take them out in the following morning and have luscious curly hair. Or, I flat-iron my hair certain days, and keep it in for 2 days. My flat-iron routine is heat protectant, round brushing with a dryer, and a flat iron. Sometimes I use a curler afterwards too. Sometimes I put cute headbands and stuff in my hair aswell. I also try to wear pretty hairstyles.

Makeup: I love love love makeup. Most days, my routine is not glam. I fill in my eyebrows with pomade and pencil, I put like a beige colored eyeshadow in my crease and on the lid, sometimes eyeliner on the lash band, sometimes a wing. I will mascara, and curl my lashes, put fake eyelashes on, but some that look natural. I have really good skin so I don't put foundation on every day, and opt for a tinted moistrizer. I conceal, bronze, and highlight. I put on a nude colored or pink lipstick. My glam routine is basically for special occasions and Instagram photos and is a typical beauty guru video.

Nails: I get fake acryllic nails. My real nails are short and stubby, and I need them filled with a fake tip. I usually get french, but sometimes I will get nude or light pink colours. I do this every 3 weeks.

Skin: Natural skin care. I use lemon sugar to get rid of pimples, and acne. I use natural coconut oil makeup remover. I wash my face before bed and in the morning. I use water and exfoliate using natural products.

Body Care: I go to the gym every morning from 8-10. I take nightly walks and hikes. I eat healthily and try to eat a natural diet. I get waxed by a family friend over my whole body every 3 weeks.

I'm pretty dedicated to looking feminine and it makes me happy.

I'm a little late but I loved this post. Beauty for me is a combination of skin/haircare + diet + exercise

Skincare: AM: wash, vitamin C serum, sunblock SPF 50 PM: take of makeup with oil, wash, Retinol cream, Argan oil - 3x week exfoliate - 1x week face mask

Haircare: I have a very long curly hair - 2/3x week wash - 1x week coconut oil mask for 12h (before bed) - 1/2x week a really good conditioner (that's where I spend money) - I had blond hair as a child so I use Camille tea spray during summer to naturally hight lights - Argan oil

body hair: I had laser 4 years ago, best decision ever
I always put some makeup when I leave the house (natural look)
