Lurker her, so first post.

Started to get going on my Master thesis, was basically avoiding writing a single sentence for months now. I scheduled my final exam in November this year, so that's that.

was skipping the gym but still working out at home so that I could spend time with a girl. everything was going well. hit "I love you" stage with her even though it was premature.

we go to a concert, I lose her for a little while(big venue) and she pulls me to the side after I find her and says she made out with the bartender. I left her at the concert stranded with only her phone.

This week, shit blows over and we contemplate getting back together. She never actually made out with the bartender I learned so I was considering it. After some soul searching decided that it wasn't a good idea and I let her know that. Her response was something like "K that's fine cause I can't do it either" after long conversations about how she loved and missed me and blah blah. Not sure if her saying that was a front or if she would have just forced the relationship because it's easier to stay together than to try to find someone new or be alone.

Either way, told her I didn't want it and am now back in the gym and it feels sooooo good. I'm happy just being alone and wants to get my bank account back up. I spent a lot of money on this chick. She's 9 years younger than me and really doesn't have her shit together so I was helping her out and even though at the time it didn't bother me to throw some money her way, I want to rebuild my savings.

Ended a relationship that I was into, but I know I'm better off and can't wait to have an awesome spring/summer.

I started reading this sub about 10 days ago and this is my first post here. After not getting laid since October I finally got laid last night. I'm going to keep trying to fuck this girl and also find other girls to fuck too. I do not think this would be possible without stumbling onto this subreddit. I improved on myself this week by getting back into yoga, clarifying my plans for the near future, and writing a whiney little TRP piece to articulate my thoughts on one specific aspect of female behavior. I also decided that I am going to hike the 887km Bruce Trail with my dog for 5 weeks (leaving before the end of the month) to completely clear my head.

I failed myself this week by indulging in the addictions I'm trying to kick.

Here we go again

Fitness

Bad week in the gym. Only good thing is that I figured out the maxes to use for the percentage-based program I will be commencing next week. Planned progress will be slower, but hopefully at least I will make some progress rather than none. This new program will hopefully decrease average gym session down to 1,5 h (from an estimated avarage of like 2 h), which feels good.

Did keep my nutrition in check and I think my cut to 15 % BF is going somewhat decent. I'm averse to lowering calories too much as I feel it impacts my gym and everyday performance too much. Moreover, I plan on introducing MMA training twice a week beginning next week. This should burn some extra calories in place of increasing my calorie deficit through diet.

No MMA session.

University

Began studying for my exam. Hardly surprising I feel I'm getting annihilated by the prep. Think I know how to change it however.

Did get a side gig that I'm starting in late April.

Relationsships

Went out once during the week to a bar where students tend to congregate. Did at least three approaches. I had a friend with me, but I opened every single time. The venue was good and I'll head there next week, too. Overall I need to work on:

1) Approaching the right type of girl(s). By accident I opened two below-par girls . Thought they were good looking but I only got a glance before I decided hesitating was not an option and proceeded.

2) Fkin closing, at least with a #. I prefer pubs, so k-closing is sort of hard, but I should definitely be getting more numbers/snapchats.

3) Dancing. I've overcome my fear of actually being on the club dance floor and I've even enjoyed it a couple of times when properly drunk. Need to learn how to do it better and how to approach and close on it. This will be hard.

Dating

Had one date. We planned to "watch a movie" at my place. I managed to escalate it to my room but experienced what I now know is denoted "LMR". Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. She still answers my texts, so might have a second shot. Of course I need to keep working on getting other prospects as well.

One of the snapchats I mentioned getting earlier might be open to a date. At least that's the feeling I got. Will investigate.

My online dating has gone to absolute shit. Didn't change anything on my profiles. Maybe I'm going through a dry spell. Need to focus on IRL as I imagine I could fare far better there.

General

Fapping scheme is still on. Think I exceeded my goal of two/w to three/w. Still no porn though. Need to work harder. Thinking of doing push ups everytime I feel an urge.

Still feeling sorry for myself from time to time, but I normally snap out of it. I must not revert back to such feminist behaviour.

Still need to find a gig for summer. Actually got the ball rolling this week though. Will continue next week.

Oh, and yeah, I should do some more reading at night time before I fall asleep.

If anyone can suggest any TRP or manosphere post pertaining to my goals, I will gladly accept them. However much I don't want to fall in to the trap of using it for mental masturbation, I must still learn.

April 1st I cut out dairy. I know this is a low-level thing for most, but as a single guy I usually drink two gallons of milk a week and eat more cheese than most families - the point of the exercise isn't that I'm averse to dairy, its that removing dairy from my diet has also cut out all the accessory foods - milkshakes, cookies, pasta, etc. After less than a week I feel lighter and more energetic. I'm finishing one run of stage performances on Saturday, and rehearsals start Sunday for the next one, but after Sunday I'll have much more time to focus on fitness/outdoor activities just as the weather is warming up where I live. I despise running and am horrible at it but next week I start training for a 5K coming up in late May.

Was sick at the beginning of the week but got back to the gym on Wednesday. Still not back to full strength but excited to continue training and adding weight. Trying to set some big PR's over the summer. My semester is almost over with final exams in two weeks so getting ready for those and just been reading a lot of books lately because I have had more free time recently. Been taking the mornings really slow, waking up early, reading the paper, meditating, writing a little bit. It's a game changer.

Being doing some surface reading on the TRP topics for a couple months now and most of the time I focused on getting back into shape and progressing my career goals. The first significant field report was a couple of days back where I cold-approached a group of 4-5 girls and started dancing and small talk probing. Now throughout this initial exchange they were eyeing the hell out of me which i usually swipe off with a sly smirk and since the conversation was going mostly one side (myself throwing out the questions, getting some short fire answers of "disinterest") so I close of that initial encounter. Fast forward 2 hours, the group is on the other side of the bar and the HB7 I've been hinting for eyes me as she turns around (still being in the same circle heard as before, mind you) so I go for the second sweep using some form of half-assed joke about circles and geometry as the second ice breaker. At this point they open up a bit and get some generic nothings out them like "yeah we're just out to have some fun". At this stage I went on to ask the HB7 if she wanted to dance but she kept being dragged off by her close friend (HB6). 20 mins in the party dwindles down a bit and the whole group makes their exit and I get a couple of hugs good bye.

No conquest whatsoever, no numbers, I was sober thought the whole exchange and was experimenting for the first time against a large isolated group with the only conclusion I could gather so far is to never try and go buffalo heard hunting wielding a bolt-action rifle, the heard just goes irrational and either "fight" you (i.e ignore and consistent rebuffing) or "flee" (leave the scene as a complete pack).

Took steps to improve eye contact. Thing i did was to make eye contact with people on the street, and hold it until the other person looked away. Harder than expected, but its a start. I find myself commonly breaking eye contact a half second our eyes meet automatically, implemented steps to remedy this. I will continue along this line of improvement.

Game wise, chatted a bit with a girl on social media and set up a possible date at an unspecified time in the future. I feel like I have to escalate, if not out of pure desire, then for the sake of it and for practice.

Tonight I deadlifted 140kg for 4 reps at 65kgs bodyweight, 5'6". My goal is reach a 1rpm of 180kg in a month.

Unfortunately I can only say that this is my sole achievement. I've been drifting. An ltr relationship has become my biggest distraction from studying and achieving my goals. Currently at seven months together, the desire to fuck more girls, a greater variety than I have already, is creeping into my thoughts.

I feel the need to restart and refocus. Uncociosuly I know what I need to do, only the fear of not knowing what I want or if I can actually achieve my goals in life is what is stopping me.

22 / 5'11" / 132lbs, currently pursuing my Double-Degree in Bachelor of Arts abroad in my last semester, if that really matters lol.

Been reading TRP since around October '16, decided to take a step to change. Coming from east asian culture where there's not much cold-approaching IMHO, I keep justifying myself not to do it. As a result = Monk-mode, MGTOW—at least I'm being productive haha.

First time committed to reading books and actually enjoying it! Finished books in 2017: The Rational Male, The Power of Now, NMMNG and how to win friends.

Committing to the gym at least 5 days a week since December, really happy with the progress of my body + strength. I discovered the world of calisthenics which makes me want to learn the moves and motivates me to go to the gym everyday. Been tracking my macros for the past 3 weeks, finding it not a really difficult task aside from money to bulk (been really broke for the past 3 months, eating literally only eggs/oats everyday).

As an introvert I find it easy to become independent and to 'self-improve'. Though I still find it difficult to maintain eye contact and to interact with people in general (missing social cues + bro handshake or whatever that's called), with the addition of living in a country where I don't speak the language (Deutsch).

Sorry for the rant. I can't seem to find the person to talk to about TRP. Every single (BP) friends I talk to about TRP seemed to either challenge my belief + mock me, or even cut contact entirely (lost a few). Best of luck to you guys!

Two weeks till excess skin removal surgery, already at bodyfat % goal (10%) and looking to get rid of at least 6lbs of skin.

I'm learning freelance skills through udemy. Photography, programming, design. I want to return to university when I'm fully self sufficient and buff. I have five years.

The first time I've seen this thread so some of these are more recent developments than the last week:

deleted my Tinder for the time being. It had become a habit and I think I was getting addicted to the validation of it.
started making my own food more so I can save money.
found a new place to live in a nice area.
sparring starts this week so I'm prepping for that. I'm proud that no matter what has happened I've kept up this MA training. I'm now definitely quite a lot stronger and physically much more impressive than a year ago.
sealed off my bonus and put myself up to do a lot of overtime in the coming months. It's going to be tough but I should finally have a bit saved up by the end of the year and enough for a rainy day.
implemented a drinking/socialising in the park/on the street initiative so I don't need to always pay craft beer prices!
gf has been dragging her heels with sex lately so she is getting a week without seeing me and a chat about it. As long as you don't live together you have some power in this regard. I'm glad I realised this and that I don't have any obligation to cohabitate. I wish I'd known it ten years ago but there you go , better late than never.

After a 2 month stall, I finally broke through my plateau the past two weeks. I tweaked my diet to nearly double my leafy greens , and just like that my lifts are up 10-15% across the board. I feel like a Greek god, and the confidence boost is palpable.

Been cutting since January, I've gone from 205 and hit a plateau at 186 so I had to cut my calories more. Despite this my bench went up and I currently do working sets of 5-6 with 225 (I'm 6'1 btw)

Went out to a Salsa night at a local club, approached girls on the dance floor (picked up a girl and fucked at her hostel), worked on my business (filming a high rise apartment which is a big step forward) , hit the gym. Still having sticking points with converting my approaches to successes, converting those to plates. Persistence is key!

I finished my first daily log composition notebook. I started in four months ago. It's interesting to see how my thought process have evolved, and what thoughts I liberated from my mind. Over four months I've accumulated 15 other notebooks for different topics.

This week however I've added 50 office folders (the thin brown ones & about 15 of them have labels), a few different size legal pads to write and later sort into said folders. Ran into an x-coworker, she lost weight and looks a lot younger (I might have laughed in her face and brushed her off a year ago when she asked asked me out) and got her number. I've started a few times before on this project but now I actually have a starting point: writing a book. I've finished reading a book and started another one. I no longer just read books, I frantically take notes and review them later. My managers at my job have been impressed with my performance (never outshine the master). A customer shit tested me in front of her feminist daughter, hit on me, introduced me to her daughter, then said they will be back with pictures of their project. I no longer come home and complain (A definition of breaking frame). I no longer complain about other people or worry about what they do. I focus on personal relationships and personal growth.

I failed to ask a mentor before acting and now hoping it is lesson on how to humble my ego in future situations.

TD;DR Even though I'm dirt poor and have little power, I hold status on and off my job. I attribute this to never stop lifting and never stop reading.

Long time lurker. I'm swallowing the pill and need to take care of myself. I'm in monk mode. I'm overweight and need to lose weight. I quit drinking and cut out most of the bad influences in my life. Just started hitting the gym. Compound lifts 3x a week, and cardio everyday for half an hour. Diets been on point. Let's see how things go.
