LESS IS MORE

Something I've messed up A LOT over the years has been violating the 'principle of less effort':

To seem more powerful and attractive, communicate more with less effort.

More simply: getting more results from doing less.

When we see someone putting in tons of effort, they appear less skilled, naturally gifted, and confident. When we see all the work that goes into something, it seems less magical and alluring.

Hence, it is advantageous to appear effortless.

How's this relate to seduction?

Displaying less effort makes a man appear more self-assured, confident, and pre-selected.

When a guy calmly does something, it's assumed he's often gets good results from doing it.

This cuts across all levels of pick up.

But let's look at a specific example.

Let's say I want to ask a girl out. I have two options for proposed meet ups, one high effort and one low effort.

Option A) Upscale rooftop bar near the girl. Option B) Going for a walk by a lake near my house.

Looking at the two options, it seems like A would be more enticing for the girl. It's closer to her, she gets to drink in an nice venue with a good view. For option B, she has to travel to me. She's expecting less in terms of novel experience and free stuff.

But in my on rigorous testing, I've discovered the low effort option B is the better choice.

Not only is the girl more likely to meet, she'll also be more open to being pulled.

Here's why:

Option A subtly communicates that asking her out is a big deal for me. This implies an attempt to impress her. In effect, showing extra effort looks low value.

Option B suggests nonchalance and abundance. It implies a large degree and confidence. There's no extra effort or attempt to impress. And it creates the impression that the man has other options.

As a good rule of thumb for pick up, nothing should ever appear like a big deal. This includes approaching, getting a nunber or fb, texting, setting up dates, pulling, and closing.

Rather than doing more, consider how to do less in any of these stages while getting better, faster results.

Here's some examples:

Instead of opening with:

"Hi, I just saw you and thought you were cute and wanted to say hello."

Open with,

"Hi, I just saw you and wanted to say hello."

Instead of asking for her number or facebook, take out your phone, open the right screen, and hand it to her.

Instead of texting,

'What are you doing tonight?'

Text,

'Tonight?'

Instead of moving toward her, tell her 'come here.'

Obviously, you still have to be a man and take responsibility for moving things forward. Just do so in a way that appears effortless and easy on your part. ✌
