Okay, I will explain it to you, since you don't seem to get it. You are being downvoted because you are talking GF, he is talking WIFE. Specifically the post you replied to was about a marriage in a no fault state where she gets 50% if she cheats. With a GF it is much, much easier to keep the soft dread game going or be the one willing to leave if she steps out of line. With a wife, it's much harder - especially when she knows you are obligated to finance her decision, whatever it may be.
We all agree you can keep a GF from cheating by being reasonably alpha. It's just not relevant to the discussion; we are talking about married couples and the betas who ring'd up the girl. Coming in talking about how you keep your GF in check doesn't have anything to do with the post you were responding to, hence the DVs. I agree people on here have a sort of learned helplessness and will dogmatically reject that you can do things to keep your LTR faithful.
But a married beta - or even an alpha, Mike Tyson's wife fucked around on him - loses the ability to leverage what you are talking about. Married men, by default, are in the Beta bucks role with their wife. They might be in the alpha fucks role too, but when you occupy that provider role with a legal contract saying that you will provide regardless of what she does... surely you understand this "make sure she knows I will leave!" strategy cannot be leveraged nearly as much.
