A man with "alpha" traits might get dumped, but he won't care because he will have an abundance mindset and outcome independence.

Don't obsess about what you've lost, think about what you've gained - access to lots of other girls.

The only thing you get out of a "long distance relationship" is the idea that you have a girlfriend, with infrequent physical contact, until one of you finds something better. Long distance relationships are inherently unstable - and if you're both 18 years old, they're a way to cling to your past instead of looking towards the future. I see what my high school girlfriend is doing on Facebook . . . and I'm so glad I stopped thinking about her 30 years ago. My current girlfriend is 100x more fun, easier to get along with, and uninhibited in bed. I am SO lucky that I didn't end up marrying the first real girlfriend I had; at the time, that seemed like a great idea.

If you want her to come back - which is a stupid goal you'll forget about as soon as you start fucking someone else - the best way to do that is to start fucking someone else, and let word get back to her through a channel other than you. But by the time she wants you back, you won't give a shit any more. And even if you get back together, she'll dump you in a year or two for some dude (or girl!) at college who will be more exciting than far-away long-distance you.

You need to read more about "oneitis" - losing access to her is only scary if you think she's the only perfect girlfriend for you on the entire planet and you'll never find anyone so special, and/or that the "first" one is magical . . . stop being sentimental. Women display sentimentality and act coldly for their own best interests - men often display stoicism, while harboring secret sentimentality, which is another word for weakness. Popular media tells us that displaying our sentimentality to women will cause them to love us. That's a giant trick. It makes them lose respect for us, because they know it is weakness. They say they want it - but they're lying to themselves and to you. Weakness + emotional availability + kindness = friendzone.
Waiting in celibacy/faithfulness for her to come back from school is an inherently weak position - she's out shopping for a new mate, while you're waiting politely at home as a backup. "I have a boyfriend back at home" is a wonderful situation for her - she can use you as a shit test for other men, until she finds one she wants to fuck - and then if he dumps her, she can come back to you for sex/attention/validation, until she finds someone else at school. You should have too much self-respect to agree to this; if you don't, you're a loser, AND SHE KNOWS IT, even while she tells you that she loves you forever and she's totally saving herself for you, blah blah blah.

What you need to understand is that there was a 0.00% chance of things working out in this scenario, and you honestly should thank her profusely for getting it all over with in a week instead of wasting more of your life on it.

Long distance basically never really ever makes sense for anyone in any situation, but it's completely and totally ludicrous and unworkable in the context of young people and going off to college and whatnot. It's all for the best, you probably don't really need to analyze it all that hard.

No, it doesn't. A woman can only yearn for what's missing so much and for so long (in this case, the security provided by a beta) before actually taking action and doing something about it. RP theory has it that once she is satiated in this way (stuffed with beta, so to speak - excuse the pun), her biology will compel her to draw her attention toward what's (now) lacking: an aloof, 'challenging', "mysterious" alpha, kickstarting the cycle anew.

For this reason, it is in your best interest to accept the end of any relationship as gracefully as possible so that you may develop an abundance mentality by silencing the fear of (inevitable) loss (all relationships come to an end at some point), and to increase the odds that she returns to you someday (which, in the greater scheme of things, ought to be irrelevant anyway, but a possible little bonus of being one cool, calm and Zenned-out kind of guy)

This is not an alpha/beta thing.

And don't believe word she says when she lists off a bunch of supposed beta things this new guy is doing. Whether he really does them, or not, is irrelevant. Chicks will game you by listing off a buunch of things New Guy supposedly does that would have given her power over the relationship. It's a test.

What's really going on is the same old story that happens thousands of times across the country every fall. Girls and boys go off to college, and they find out how big the world is and how many the opportunities are. And they don't want to get frustrated sexually in a LDR.

So they do it the right way. They make a clean break and they dump their high school BF/GF. And then get into the campus scene.

My roommate in 1st year college did exactly that to his high school GF. He asked me to critique his break-up letter, LOL.

I found myself GF-less a few months before going off to college, and I avoided getting involved with a couple of chicks who wanted to start a relationship, knowing LDR was dumb.

This is just the way of the world. Accept that it's over because of the distance and her moving in to a new world, and go out there and get new chciks of your own, on your terms.

Think of alphas like stocks: Not everyone can see their true value, so in rought times they get sold / oversold instead of sticking with them or buying them in discount. Also not alot of people cannot understand the difference between a good stock or a bad stock when they have the same price at the same given moment (good stock has better fundamentals etc. etc.).

How do you make money? First by buying misjudged stocks; good stocks that sell cheap. If some of the most intelligent minds can misjudge stocks which is just numbers and some guesswork, you can be sure women can misjudge an alpha, dump him and go for a beta. The alpha still gets the chance to fck them again, sometime in the future though (seen than / done that).

Also the more alpha you are the more difficult it is to keep a relationship today. Most women want an LTR with a betabux (so they can control him and live happily every after) while fcking an alpha guy on the side. Getting an LTR with an alpha is going to cost them when they do their usual shitstuff. They ll get a nice hard next and that's all. They don't want that. That's the problem/blessing with being alpha. Most chicks dig you but ironically don't want you for an ltr.
