On one of my rare forays into the nightlife scene, I was meeting a friend at a bar to chill/catch up yesterday night. I arrived a little earlier, as I was walking into the bar, girl A and girl B were walking out, loud and obnoxious, dancing their way out. I remembered u/dr_warlock's brilliant post 'Beware of Beta Bait' - attention whoring - I smiled to myself.

As I was walking around inside, trying to find a nice place to perch myself and wait for my friend (it's a large area, with several little bars close to one another), I notice some girl following me, tryna get my attention (not very politely - like the way you'd call/shoo a stray animal), I keep walking. She steps up in front of me, girl A from earlier, I say 'what's up.' She says 'nothing' then steps aside, I continue walking.

She walks up beside me and asks my name, I stretch out my hand and ask her hers, she refuses to tell me. I tell her if she won't tell me her name she should go away. My instincts were telling me something was off, this girl wanted something, and I doubt it was dick.

I walked into the loo, a few seconds later, this girl walks in, into the MENS loo, and there were other guys around - probably should have stuck my dick in her face, right TRP? I walk out back into the bar and, surprise, surprise. Girl B appears.

Girl A starts saying I should introduce myself properly to her friend, I joke around a bit, then she starts pulling my hoodie over my head and face. Disrespectful. Obnoxious. I walk away again. Now both of them start following me, saying loudly behind me how all I'm thinking of is myself, I can't say hi to people and other shitty stuff, I pay no attention.

I walk up to a bartender friend of mine, start a little convo, then girl A again, her song supposedly came on (it's a bar area, music is playing) comes up behind me, starts spanking me. Well, I decide since I'm getting harassed I might as well get something from it, I turn around and pull her close to me to start grinding.

Girl B, starved of attention, starts walking away and tells girl A 'let's go.' They walk away and I don't see them again. Bizarre situation, never happened to me before but I'll break it down best I can.

ANALYSIS - These girls spotted me as soon as I walked in and had certain designs for me. I've had girls attracted to me before and that is not how they act. They were either looking for free drinks, ego boost or they get off on being assholes. All about that validation. I figure this is just another example to add to u/dr_warlock's Beta Bait post.

Perhaps I could've handled the situation better (there's a point where you can't simply ignore bad behaviour and should punish it?) but, oh well..I'm here to learn.
