I can only assume this is here because you want insight in how to change your weak disposition when it comes to how you approach life away from your PC. Ask yourself why you made a resolve to vo out in public in the first place. Was it to get social experience to build confidence or was it so your friends would stop harassing you for being a pussy and a shut in? Secondly, you failed every shit test imaginable with this girl you never met before and the fact you had an "out of my league" mentality didnt help your chances. Why would a girl from half way around the world want to talk to a beta bitch like you anyway? Lastly, You need to either get help or own your anxiety problem. Its an illness so do whatever it takes to get that taken care of. You came to the red pill because you want some truth. Quit being a victim of your own problems. Read the goddamn sidebar.

You wont cure anxiety by staying in your room. Keep going out with your roommate. You could either stay offended by what your roommate said. Or use it as fuel for your fire to work on lessing your anxiety.

Social anxiety is an excuse you use.

It's a crutch. Every failure you have with women, or other people at all, can be explained away by social anxiety.

You're gimping yourself by taking comfort in the fact that it's "not your fault" that you have difficulty with women; take some responsibility for your ineffectiveness and take the time to learn how to do it.

What made the situation worse is the girl across from me actually started insulting me because I was not talking to her. At first she just made a few comments about me being quiet and I laughed it off. Then she started asking if I'm high, or if anything bad happened to me earlier because I was so quiet. I ordered my food and she made some rude comments about the food I ordered. It was a really strange experience and I didn't quite know how to respond to it. So I just sank further back into my shell.

Dude who knows I think she might have been shit testing you. Maybe she was kinda interested in you, even if you dont believe. However you destroyed any chance if you ever had any as soon as you decided to just sit quiet and let her belittle you instead of trying to tease and insult her back. However one thing is certain, she was trying to see if you would snap out of your introverted self. In other words she wanted you to react in a manly way!

When dinner was over I met up with my roommate and he confronted me about my social anxiety. He asked me why I never talk to girls and why I can't socialize with people. I told him about my social anxiety but he didn't seem to understand. Socializing and talking to girls comes naturally to him, but it's very difficult for me. We got into a heated debate and he said something along the lines of "you will die a virgin". This really stung because I thought he was my friend

As for your friend he doesnt hate you or is doing that on purpose. He is just telling you some harsh truths to see if you man up and stop this beta mentality of "I´m a loser nobody loves nobody wants me and I cant do anything abou it". He is just showing you some "tough love".

You have a long way to come, friend. I read an article Cracked wrote a while back, "6 Harsh Truths That Will Make You a Better Person" (if you'll forgive the clickbait title), and I think you'll benefit from reading it as well. TRP is good at giving you the right things to read to make yourself a better you, but here's the part I think is most important (speaking about Alec Baldwin's acclaimed scene in Glengarry Glen Ross):

I honestly do not believe that your roommate was trying to be an asshole (though perhaps you need to establish a stronger boundary about your secret). He didn't need to invite you anywhere to begin with. You should make up with him and try to find more opportunities to fuck up socially. It's how you learn.

At that point you had already failed due to going in with the wrong mindset - firstly, you are the prize; secondly, you aren't going out to pull, you go out to socialise.

You sound like a blue piller with social anxiety - fix that before trying to get women. Social anxiety is not an excuse, it does not define you, it is your own personal mountain to climb in order to continue on your journey - there are no shortcuts or alternate routes, you have to climb the mountain, you have to put the work in to overcome it. If you don't, you will die alone and miserable.
