Anyone that tells you appearance doesn't matter is lying to themselves. However for a male, appearance is simply one of many components of attraction.

Attraction = looks, game, confidence, status, personality, money etc.

If you're lacking in one department e.g. looks, you must make up for it in another. But it's best to try to improve all components of attraction. Being well rounded can only improve your overall attraction.

Appearance is important for attraction. The fact that a good body boosts your confidence means doubly so.

Every woman has two red lines for men's appearance: the sexual red line (beyond which she can't be attracted, no matter what else is going on) and the social red line (the line beyond which even if she's attracted, she will refuse a man in order to defend her own social standing.)

This is bad for you if your appearance deficits are immutable (shortness, deformities) but good if they are anything else. You can be very weird looking and plenty of women will think you're hot if you have the right attitude. Plastic surgery is quite cheap and very effective. Plenty of woman don't mind chunky dudes, and you can always lose weight. The age disparity that becomes preclusive is extreme.

Short, balding, and not hung guy here. Obviously you should always try to be the best that you can possibly be. But just know that physical disadvantages do matter. If you have all the things I listed, you're going to be limited on the quality of women you can get.

Physical appearance gets your foot in the door. If you dont have that she wont give a shit what car you drive or how indifferent you are to her shit tests.

Someone who is in the market for a new 5 series doesnt really care if the new Dacia comes with free air conditioning.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. If you're playing a character with low charisma you can either reroll your character (if the DM lets you) or just let another party member take care of the NPC interactions.

Of course, if you're playing a solo campaign, things get a little trickier.

You might have more of a bumpy ride to begin with if you look totally mediocre. Expect more shit-testing. Hold frame, spit game and you'll be good.

It matters, but it doesn't matter anywhere near as much as it does for women. Do what you can to improve your appearance but don't fret if you don't look like the front cover of GQ.

By "RPG" I assume you mean Red Pill Game. Unfortunately, it's a bad question, because there are many different styles of Game, and a Redpiller is supposed to use the one that works best for him. "Red Pill" is supposed to just be a recognition of reality for what it is, so the proper question would be "How much does physical appearance matter in Game" period.

Ever since I changed my diet, quit smoking cigs and started doing abs/core for 20 mins then workout for 45mins-1hr for 5-6 days a week, I am starting to see results.
