Added Deck of Cards to my workout to work on functional strength. Serious DOMs today from doing it on Wednesday. Worked on employability, hobbies, and health all week, with resume updated, two jobs applied for, three certification courses passed, and 1800 words written in my novel. Also repainted the hood of my Jeep with rhino liner and replaced the door stops with bungees.

1-5 star rating:

Health: *** (Been eating like shit, but stuck with workout plan and added to it. Humidity in NC is brutal and running makes me feel like I'm breathing soup.)

Hobbies: **** (Working on the Jeep has been zen. Writing could be more productive than 200 words a day.)

Employability: **** (If either job pans out my income could potentially double over the next year.)

Success: Exercised daily/alternating bw gym and cardio - noticed that I am getting leaner - put up a shirtless selfie on whatsapp and getting a lot of compliments on it. Being lean makes you look bigger than you are in pictures. People who haven't seen me IRL say that I shouldn't get any bigger when I'm just 140 lbs.

Meditated 30m daily - helps balance emotions - keep depression/anxiety away - concentrate better - going to up this to 1 hour now.

Ate healthy everyday - I've developed a meal plan that puts me in a slight surplus which I follow everyday - it doesn't take much discipline anymore, it's something I do. Make sure to juice vegetables everyday for health benefits.

Got a new haircut

Socialised a lot this week - made sure to keep up with friends - not get pissed off at small things and keep my cool when shit tested and reply back appropriately. I am surprised how much more effective and fun this is. Tried public speaking for the 1st time. It went pretty bad but I'm proud I pushed myself to just do it instead of chickening out. Made sure to spark up conversations with strangers.

Saw a psychiatrist for some severe mood issues I had and got put on Lamictal which really helped make me feel 'normal' inside. Also, this is my 4th week on an SSRI and my outlook on life has changed dramatically. The hopelessness and despair has lessened a lot and I am Way more optimistic about life. Instead of hiding from the problems in my life, my mind now looks for solutions for them. My anxiety regarding certain things has decreased dramatically so as not to severely impair my life. Other things I'll still have to work on.

Failures: Not studied as much though I did contact one of my teachers to give me extra time which I would have been too afraid to do before. She agreed and I'm getting my academic life back on track.

I'm procrastinating on certain things like fixing my guitar so I can start learning and a project that I'm supposed to lead/work on.

Broke my nofap streak.

Still can't manage to wake up early in the morning and my sleep quality is poor.

Almost done with my cut! 5' 6"Started at 235 Lbs and I weighed in a few days ago at 167.5. Goal weight is 155 but I'll probably try to go for 145 and bulk up to 155 and proceed to being a god

Recently hit 800 total on my big 3 (squat bench dead) but my lifts are very inconsistent because I'm cutting. I'm more or less pushing the same weight I was before except with 5-7 lbs less fat. Not gonna stop till I look like dick skin.

How have you improved this week?

--> Started to spin some plates (about 3/4) but could not maintain their attention for a long time, still kinda needy. Started a goal of reading a book per week (only non-fiction ones). Getting 2/3 mathces on Tinder per day but still a low value man.

In what ways did you take steps to get closer to you goals?

--> Bought the books out of the top 10 list on Illimitable Men and currently Reading The 48 Laws Of Power (Not the condensed version though). Applied some text game but still being kinda needy and went to meetup with a plate but still could not close. I keep following my diet most of the time but still cheat it every once in a while. I deleted insta and FB and pretend to not even bother looking at it.

In which ways did you fail?

-->Could not keep plates spinnning for long, did not head to the gym as much I wanted to due to health problem (thinking about getting out of Stronglifts 5X5), wasted too much time doing basically nothing and did not medidate at all.

Good:

Seeing results at the gym, have been making sure to go on my schedule but it might be time to increase the frequency.

Worked on increasing value: employment opportunities, better haircut, took care of clothes a month ago but I have to get out and see what works.

In the process of taking care of my classes for next semester, gotta make sure I stay on track to graduate sooner rather than later.

Bad:

Low action to theory ratio. Reprogramming my brain is good but it requires action to cement it and get actual results.

Spent most of my free time on mostly useless stuff like video games and redditing. Will spend more free time on improvement and hobbies that actually matter like music and writing.

Lifting: consistent and regular. Learning to do more reps with lower weights to avoid injuries (Im old)

Diet: too much beer, too much eating the wrong things. Need to be more disciplined.

Work: going from strength to strength. I have found a new business partner and I think this new business could be the largest business I have within a few years

Family: Great, lots of activities with the kids. Kids extremely happy and doing well in sports and school. Relations with my ex at an all time high, very amicable, that is great for the kids

Social: somewhat lacking. Not hanging with my friends as much as I would like. Difficult to assimilate my SO into a group of largely single friends

Went clubbing and got some easy hooks. Got some numbers and planning on organising some dates. I feel like I'm jumping the gun as I should be finding the time to read more theory. I have the '48 Laws of Power', 'The Rational Male' and 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' just sitting on my bedside and I'm not finding the time to pick them up. Gym is good, stayed consistent all week against all odds. Didn't meditate, didn't use my time productively enough.

Gotta start more reading this week for sure.

Really proud of myself. Finally locked down a summer job. Which was one of my last goals on a list i made some months ago. Since i finally feel sorted i worked up the courage to get my ass out to approach for the first time in months. Approached 6 girls and even had a full conversation in Spanish to buy some bracelets from a street vendor. I feel really good right now and even though i didn't get to ask for any nunbers i don't feel pathetic for not trying at all

Kept the grind going. It's officially been a year since I've started going to the gym, going from 215lb 6'4" skinnyfat, cutting to 180, then getting back up 205-210lb (but less skinnyfat). Got my bench to 185 at 4 reps (165 at 8) which I'm sure isn't a lot compared to a lot of you, but its a slow road, and it's definitely showing.

Was gonna make a thread but it seemed more appropriate here. Found this particular page on accident last week and have been here everyday since.

Since this is my week1 my improvement was accepting the literal bitchslap this page was to me. Yall express the same thinking i did when i was most successful (before a LTR fucked my shit up righteously) and are saying the same things i found myself telling 17 18 yr old virgins to help them get a female in the bag (or sack more appropriately)

Thank yall for making and upholding the page; and holding its beliefs so rigidly. These are the things i began to realize before i was quickly wifed up and brainwashed to forget it all. This was the jumpstart i needed(i was beginning to think my best years were behind me..im 24)

Good: Economy: I've been doing retail arbitrage and betting arbitrage. Retail netted me $450 this week with low effort. Betting netted me $1000 this week. I've bought camera equipment for half of the profit which I'll be using for the retail business.

Game: I made a k-close sober with a dance girl while on the social dance floor which is a breakthrough.

Gym: Went three times this week.

Bad: School: This is my last semester but I still have so much trouble doing homework. It's a daily struggle.

Mental: I'm still having thoughts of selfhate which sucks. I try to think positive but it's really hard some time.

I started looking up content inside content that I'm reading... The rabbit hole gets deeper.

I made a roommate ad and got ten responses in one weekend day. A lot of the responses want me to move in as their boyfriend. I'd say I'd need to refocus/redo the post but I might have landed a $800/month studio for $400/month because "I train for honor among men" aka the men in my community tell me to use them as a reference without me even know them. I may have succeed in signfically lowering my cost of living by solely focusing on learning to communicate with men. also women attraction is a bi-product. my take for this week... focus on conversations with men. Never talk to impress a woman.

I started collecting phone numbers, calling to set up dates, and rescheduling dates. Even though I don't have my own place, these women willing play by my rules and my pace. They are happy to be part of my life, even a far distant part.

Maybe I breath new energy into them. I now vet women and make sure they have high interest in me. After two months I make them take an AIDS test. I'm working to have a love machines a phone call away.

I failed because I attacked someones character and not their ideas in this sub. Aspiring rapper, ayyy these battle first reactions (attack their image) are sometimes hard to overcome when I see a Mod tell someone to fuck off.

Turned my jerk dial all the way to 11 against the newest female intern, wanted to see how she'd react as I'm her supervisor. Was making fun of her at her expense, and making her perform difficult tasks.

Realized that I can be quite intimidating and a sarcastic SOB. She left with good work experience.
