It's worse when women cheat because it means they don't love the guy they are supposed to be monogamous to, or they view him with contempt, and they put the guy they are cheating with above their boyfriend/husband...

...whereas, it's male nature to cheat, and they still love their girlfriends/wives even after they cheat with whoever...

Also, men feel no emotional connection when they have sex, nor do they seek it.

Hamstering aside, cheating is an investment strategy like most. Time, money and mental though process.

There’s a great post on here about The Sunken Cost Fallacy. Best read that before making moral judgments.

Saying you won’t do something should be because of contingency. As in you perceive the risk too much, especially the multipliers that you have no idea of. That said if you have a lot of contingency you may do it.

Morality is subjective to the level you are at. Your behaviours when you have many years experience and knowledge can be different than when you started out.
