Mmmm I only ever see girls with 'more than average iq' using hypergamy more intelligently. Making full use of birth control/legal abortion, and alpha fucking beta bucking in the worst way.

So much this. Honestly, I check this sub more kicks and to reaffirm what I know about how a lot of "typical" women behave (materially focused, use looks to get by, hamster, etc). But honestly, I am not bragging here but I'm a pretty intellectual person. I will not even consider for a second a relationship with a female whose intelligence I do not respect. She must be attractive as well, because I am too. Before you guys say such women don't exist, they certainly do. My problem is the women who fit this criteria tend to be taken, unsurprisingly, as they are extremely desirable.

That's not to say these kind of women don't want any so called alpha characteristics, because they certainly do, just to a lesser extent I feel. Not that they want betas either, just more that they sort of transcend the inherent sort of egoism associated with the paradigm itself.

Just my two cents.

I don't respect any woman's intelligence, because every woman I've been in a long relationship with has molded her intellectual world-view to match mine. Morality and philosophy are male systems on a global level, and on a local level. She might seem to acquiesce intellectually, but she's just submitting to my personal authority, because it's attractive, and rationalizing it as an intellectual decision later. This is why I can't respect female intelligence: it simply conforms to the alpha construct in their lives, whether it's Carl Sagan, The Catholic Church, or yours truly. It's predictably endearing.

That's a fair point that I can't really argue with, as it ultimately becomes a reduction of differences on an axiomatic level. I can't name a great female philosopher off the top of my head.

That said, there tends to be a greater propensity in females to have greater spiritual awareness and connection to mother Earth and unity. In that vein, a certain set of ideas I find attractive are more likely to follow.

I disagree. The smarter university girls I meet are the ones that have a new boyfriend every week. Some of them are married and whatnot, but they are in the minority.

In my area it's actually the stupid dropout girls that are the most loyal to their boyfriends.

It's the same reason more intelligent people will be even more susceptible to real estate scams and whatnot. They know they are smart and rationalize against the environment being able to take advantage of them emotionally.

Nope. Men peak at 22 23 or so....women at 19 or so. The idea that a guy looks better or will score more at 35 than 25 is another unsubstantiated PUA myth.

Men may peak around there physically, but status typically goes up significantly as men age. Status (hypergamy) is arguably a bigger factor than physical attractiveness when it comes to female attraction.

edit: also, from personal experience I've found status matters more to women as they age as well. middle aged women looking for a "Good Provider" want a guy that's teh total package. somethign that would be high status to a 19 year old may not have the same sway to teh same woman at 38.

I am not sure status alone is greater than physical appeal though. For example, I hang out with plenty of PhDs, who will never land elite level pussy because they are short, chubby, and average looking.

PhD is not generally status in of itself. Fame is.

If you're famous you have status in pretty much all settings. With a PhD only people who know you have the PhD will it mean something to, and only if it's in a subject that's of value to them AND your education is higher than theirs. I can imagine some looking down their nose at it.

a.) have graduated with their HS diploma and have worked a shit job for four years

b.) are graduating with their bachelor's degree, starting their first job, and are probably lucky to have a net worth of breakeven

c.) going on to post-graduate which means they will be debt laden for years on end before they see a return on their investment

The physical factor for SMV perhaps, but there are many other components including status/wealth/power/accomplishment which play an arguably larger role for men.

I think this is the thing that is most often misunderstood by people around here. Just because you reach some magical age all of the hot college chicks legs don't fly wide open.

However, it is true for guys that earn high wages, stay in great shape, age well and appear successful.

Though women's standards do drop dramatically as they age, so there is that for the fat losers.

I'm never quite sure how to succinctly turn it around, when I say "So you can generalize but I can't?", they don't seem to think they're generalizing. They don't see that the "facts" they're so sure about are just as much unsupported generalizations as the arguments I'm making. They just refuse to think critically about it.

What do you think the percentage of men is that have both ridiculous high status as well as extreme youth on their side? You're describing such a vanishingly small portion of the male population. I'm not disputing that they get laid a ton that they get laid a ton but their total impact on the SMV at large is going to be quite small overall. The presence of these super alphas is not going to prevent lesser alphas from doing their thing.

Not only that, but how long do you think they can keep that status? 2% of high school athletes go on to play in college. Something like 2% of college athletes go on to play pro.

There is enormous wiggle room for the 35 year old high SMVs and 29 year old junior execs to maneuver in.

Which is why men are praised for getting high notch counts and women are shamed (or at leat should be). Men accomplish something, women just grow boobs and spread legs.

SMV is the idea women's value to the other sex peaks at a young age, as their prime tool is their youthful looks. Men's value peaks at 30 something, as they maintain some of their looks, while increasing in confidence, stature, wealth, strength etc....

My critique is that while women's SMV breaks down largely to genetics and upbringing, so much must go right for male SMV to increase.

To be honest, I understand "sexual market value" to be nothing more than the idea that meeting the opposite sex, dating, starting relationships, and f*cking have properties similar to market/barter economies (i.e. a member of the opposite sex can be modeled as a "product" that brings you a certain amount of "utility", but in exchange, you need to bear the cost of bringing the other person a certain amount of utility. From there, it's apparent that the dating market is a matter of supply and demand).
