Hey TRP, this is my first post here. Been lurking for a while, trying to soak in as much knowledge as I can.

Anyway, in November last year I met some chick on POF, we texted for a few days then got together at her place, fooled around a bit but didn't close as I was still pretty beta at the time. Before I could set up another date, she told me she was seeing someone, and I left it at that and moved on.

So I saw her on the site a few days ago, and thought I'd give it another go. I asked her if she was still seeing someone and she said "No, we just broke up", to which I replied "Cool, we should get together then, how about tomorrow night?". She just wrote back "Work." So I waited a day or so, then sent her another message "Alright how about Friday?". Two days later she still hadn't replied, so I wrote "I'll take that as a no." She wrote back almost immediately saying "what".

Any advice as to what I can say here so I'm not caught in this loop of asking her out, then waiting days for a response? I feel like she wouldn't be writing back if she had zero interest, but I'm not sure what to say honestly. At this point my only thought was to write "Nvm", and see if that has any effect, since directly asking her out seems to be doing nothing.
