I'm a guy in early 40s with no health problems who just needs to go to check ups and get a finger in my butt and a lolly pop after party once a year. look it is a deal my doctor and I made. if he does the finger ... he has to give me candy. no candy ... no dandy.

I was a little suspicious that he remembered and had candy on my next visit, but a man keeps his word.

and Obama care blew up my rates. I am literally paying for another whole family to have medical care.

ok, here's MY deal. I don't care. I really don't. I make a ton of cash and I was raised in a house where sometimes we needed financial assistance. at one time, public assistance got my parents their first house. we got food stamps when we needed them. and now someone needs me to help subsidize their healthcare.

I'm in.

That being said Obama care did a lot of things that were screwed up and need to be changed period. first of which is the entire government has to participate, and mostly I mean congress. this is like education. I don't think any congressman's kid should be able to go to private school. if THEIR kids went to public school, that shit would get fixed real fast. the same goes for health care .... if their kids and families have to go .... it will be a good program. second, no penalty for someone who opts out. the only opt outs I ever hear are people who make troo much money for subsidies .. and yet somehow can't afford this ridiculous raise in healthcare insurance. then they get hit for 500 bucks .... this is ridiculous. too many of those stories show that the system is broken. three, open up all competition across all states. this was the proof that the system put in place could not be taken seriously. the easiest concept in driving down prices is competition. when this was ignored, the proof that this was a bullshit program in the fact that no one cared about the cost of insurance.

Free reproductive choices for everyone is a good thing. It should be covered for men too and that part seems sexist, albeit women's healthcare costs related to reproductive services are MUCH higher than men's.

Everyone who works is taxed. Not just young men. Healthy young people paying in is how health insurance works and remains a viable option.

You're against free birth control, but I bet you also get angry at people receiving welfare for kids that could have been avoided if they had access to proper healthcare and contraception.

Going back towards private insurance will raise healthcare costs for all of us. But hey, at least we're not going to get cucked by needy sick people anymore, right?

Obamacare was designed to fail.

Hillary back in the 1990's with Bill as president planned for a single payer system and at the time it didn't pass.

The idea was that Obamacare would crash and then Hillary (as the new president) would install a single payer system.

Trump screwed up that plan.

But let's wait and see how this plays out.

Don't judge either way on Trump yet... he may or may not be "for real".

Let the facts determine your future assessment.

Don't "jump to conclusions".

Of course it isn't. Men between the ages of 18 and 50 mostly don't need medical insurance beyond a policy that pays for a check up once a year or so and to handle real emergency situations. This is even more true if the man in question is actively involved in looking after his own health.

Women, on the other hand, seem to need a whole panoply of ongoing care from about their mid twenties or so on. They need yearly check-ups, they need yearly pap smears, past thirty-five they need yearly breast exams, they expect their birth control to be given to them, a whole series of problems, and it is why insurance used to cost them more, it's the same reason that young men pay more for car insurance.

It all ignores the real issue though. The progressives want to rule over the country. They are so repulsive that they would never be allowed this outright. Instead they need a hydraulic empire. They need control over something everyone is going to need eventually, yes even men over the age of 50, so one of the few things they could get control over that fit that requirement and wouldn't set off too many alarms is access to medical insurance/care. That's why it has been the socialist's wet dream since FDR.

Ted Kennedy openly bragged about destroying the United States medical care delivery system so that he and his fellow communist simps could replace it with a thoroughly communist system. Bathhouse Barry was simply too incompetent and arrogant to get ram it home when they had the chance.

Like those same people gave a crap that they blew up 90% of the country's healthcare\finances for the small segment of people whom Obamacare might have helped in some way.

That makes perfect sense, of course, it makes sense to fuck over 90% of the people to get their plan but you can not hurt that 10% to get rid of their clusterfreak......<rolling eyes>
