Just wanted to get some input from fellow redpillers... perhaps they have a better explanation. This is something I have consistently noticed throughout my life but have struggled to accept. It seems that an alpha personality is almost always accompanied by a lack of intelligence or more specifically analytical skills. I have yet to meet someone who possessed high degree of both of these attributes at the same time.

My observation mainly comes from working in a prestigious software corporation. My coworkers are the cream of the crop of this field (which is already mentally demanding). There is no place on earth with a higher concentration of beta men. Out of 100s of guys in their 20s not a single one has an attractive gf. The few times we get an attractive marketing intern, the beta attitude literally drips from everyone. The few guys that are slightly better off than others are serious under performers and are in easier roles.

Other thing I noticed is my personal inability to be analytical and alpha at the same time. Time and time again I have noticed that whenever I start to workout more, increase my risk tolerance and intentionally force myself to become more alpha... my job performance goes down. (despite the exact same amount of time devoted to it) My mind simply does not see the patterns as quickly and effectively and is no longer as creative at finding solutions. It's like I cannot afford to have a relaxed alpha attitude if I want to perform well in this line of work.

Anyone else feel the same way?
