There's a reason why /r/deadbedrooms is a thing. I'm glad I unplugged when I did. Could've had a kid and/or a house with her and really had been fucked over. Left with $7k in debt and irreversible mental damage.

I guess I was fortunate to be unemployed when I got divorced. Then again, she was arrested for domestic violence against me, and she was the one who filed.

Irrational bitch demanded I not be allowed to have my little girl at my new residence overnight, no right to holidays, etc. I gave her a deal: I'll let you keep the house (and all the house related debt, lol) if you just give me rational visitation. She wouldn't do it. I gave her 2 months to mull it over.

Fast forward to mediation: I get more visitation and parent rights than I asked for initially, and she had to buy me out of the house, while still assuming all of the house related debt. My only real overhead now is my rent. I couldn't be happier. Note: all of my assets were acquired before the marriage, and my inherited trust she knew she had no way to touch.

I don't know if it's selective bias, but I feel like TRP is going more mainstream. Obviously TRP itself wont ever go mainstream because of our vitriolic nature, but the principles as a whole are. Like any social movement, it's all about pendulum swings: Feminism has recently gone too far, so now gravity is trying to swing it back down.

If I were to talk about some of the shit here just 5 years ago, people would look at me like a fucking heretic. But today, I've yet to have a single guy (including many women) disagree with me on the gender dissemblance.

It seems like more people are catching on to how perverted and outdated the ideal of marriage is. Its too bad people that are realising this are already married.

Maybe that's part of it. I think it's not that the ideal of marriage is outdated but that the beta males and the women they're marrying inevitably are going to end up in sexless marriages. Women know that they don't have to do it to keep them around anymore because they've signed the paper, and men are largely clueless about how to keep their women turned on.

More masculine men and feminine women and a society that doesn't try to force "equality" on the sexes in every aspect of life is the only thing that will fix the problem. And that isn't happening any time soon, thank god I found a woman that at least somewhat embraces the fact that men and women are fucking different.

The traditional ideal of marriage (look back at least before the romance movement) is not itself perverted. Nor, where society to actually support it, would it be a bad idea.

Unfortunately, our culture is twisted and corrupt when it comes to relations between men and women. As such, it twists and corrupts institutions that were once good if those institutions deal with those relationships.

It's not about marriage, it's not about declining libido. What many men do not understand is that sex in marriage is about arousing your wife, and if you cannot do that, your marriage is going to go down the drain because she is not attracted to you anymore.

And that is why conversations with your SO about not getting sex will NEVER WORK, unless she can articulate her attraction, but most of the time women don't know what turns them on, it's YOUR job to find out.

tl;dr: Sexless marriage? Just fucking get her wet and all your problems will be solved.
