I get in to this argument with feminists with their "Blarg only 6% of men are stay at home fathers Blarg"

I'm surprised it's that high since every marriage that had stay at home father or a "house husband" that I have seen has always ended in divorce with the women either becoming an abusive bitter wife or just cheating and then leaving him ( or in my sister's case "discovering" she was a lesbian at 38 years of age ) .

So I assume that the stats are so low for all of the things of - men doing the majority of house work -- men being house husbands -- men being stay at home fathers - Is really because any couple that tries it gets divorced soon after so the number can't rise above those who are just entering their first year or two .

Man, this is a bit unrelated but I really hate how sex is often portrayed as a "reward" for men, specially married men.

I'm not married so maybe that's why I don't get it. Do women lose sexual desire after marriage or what?

For those of you red-pillers over 30. Post this on facebook. Watch how many women will say "Ohhh, I don't know about that. I know when MY man does housework, I get ... oh sooo horny". Which is complete and total bullshit, and a huge massive shit test. What I find unfathomable is women's inherent drive to push their men into roles they'll find less attractive, and then complain once their marriage disolves, or they get cheated on.

I asked about this in /r/askTRP once and got a less than satisfactory answer. The question still remains, how can you assert dominance if there is a power imbalance in which your female partner earns the majority of your combined incomes? I would argue it makes it almost impossible to institute TRP principles in other facets of your relationship. You can try to compensate by taking care of housework and a million other things, and your partner might seem appreciative but she will be much much less attracted to you.

If you start washing cups at a party, for instance, women will drool over you. The novelty of a man doing women's work is temporarily and only slightly effective. But it wears off, and fast. If you become the boyfriend/guy friend who washes the dishes, or whatever, you become an unsexy and useful beta tool. So it's up to you if you want to pepper in some extremely brief, one-off, unprompted dish washing into your game if you're at a party with a lot of women.

Typically for journalism, the language of the article focuses on (A -> B) which is a cum hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy.

A focus on the wrong thing will confuse people. Stupid couples (i.e. the masses) will talk about chores as if it's the linchpin, while it's just an effect.

I hate to say it, but not only is this research based on 20 year old data, the couples in the study averaged sex FIVE times a month. I think the issue is that most people are pathetic. And for those of you who think dishes are bitch work, I fucking love cooking, and my woman loves when I tell her what to chop... and I definitely like to chill out and listen to some new music or podcasts while getting my hands dirty in the sink though I make my bitch fold the sheets. The red pill way is to do whatever the fuck makes you happy and make your woman do the rest.

I know this isn't really the place for me, but I personally am totally turned on by a man that does housework, and I'm far more likely to pay back housework help with sexual favors. This may be a point that is differentiated before and after marriage--I think most men will get MORE sex in the beginning of a relationship if they do housework, but that may change over time.
