Thanks to no-fault divorce, in today's society, a woman can:

 
- Marry a guy
- Have 1-2 kids with him

then  

• Cheat on him or leave him
  
• Taking half his things
  
• And up to 71% of his income for 18 years (child support) or forever (alimony can be permanent after 10 years of marriage)
  

  She will do this in order to find or try to find a rich, older guy to have 1-2 more kids with, maximizing her reproductive potential.
 

Why does she do this?

She will do this when it becomes evident that the first guy has reached his own reproductive potential- he has no additional time or money to support additional children. If she has not yet reached 40, she still has not reached hers.

In the old days, this wasn't possible. If a woman cheated, she'd get screwed in the divorce. There would be no one to pay for the kids she had with Guy #1. But thanks to welfare, no-fault divorce, jail-enforced alimony, and child support, she gets to have $$$ keep rolling in the door even after she leaves her baby-daddy or husband. Thanks to birth control, she can use her body to get another guy hooked on hitting that ass, then swing branches and trade Guy #1 for Guy #2 without missing a beat. Children, normally a liability, have become an asset, because she doesn't have to spend the money she gets for them, on them. Cesar Milan (The Dog Whisperer) had to pay his ex-wife $140,000/month in alimony, and $120,000/month on child support. It doesn't take nearly that amount to raise a kid. Total cost of a kid these days is about $800,000 - from birth to 18.
 

The Solutions

There are various methods men use to mitigate this incredible risk:

  1) Rich Girls
You can try to only have kids with, or marry, a woman with equal or more documented capacity for earning than you have. This is difficult because women are generally only attracted to men who earn more than she does (as borne out by US Marriage Statistics, which show that men earn more than their wives, 75% of the time)

 
2) Be financially superior, but hide assets
This is not recommended because it is not only illegal to hide assets during or in anticipation of divorce, but it is also near-impossible to safely hide any meaningful assets from a long-term, intimate partner. Many men think they are brilliant by quitting their job when divorce appears imminent, only to find that the court bases alimony (and child support) on one's capacity to earn, not upon their present cash-flow.

 
3) Give Zero Fucks
If you don't care about: - Having access to your own kids - Being financially raped - Possibly being sent to jail for defaulting on alimony/child support

Then you are covered. Many guys in the inner city use this approach, having multiple kids with multiple baby-mamas, and there is an element of validity to it, because there is in fact a limit to how much the state can garnish for child support/alimony. Unfortunately that limit is about 70% of you take-home pay. And unfortunately, your kids are not the only one who may suffer, because you may be raped in prison, which is where they can send you if you don't keep up on your payments. A debt of which is not forgivable even if you are a prisoner of war

 
4) Find a "good woman" (aka unicorn)
The most popular approach. Most sensible guys will try to find a good woman from a good family. Unfortunately, hypergamy knows no bounds. The problem is:

• Attractive women from good families with no baggage (kids/divorce) are in short supply and high demand

• All women are like that. Countless men before you have thought they found someone "special" who would "never do that", and thus were even more shocked and devastated to discover their woman, disinterested or cheating on them, even after they've had two kids together. Even after paying all her bills. Even sexing her like a champ is no defense, women will often give up that ass and perform well sexually in order to cover up their infidelity, and to assuage their guilt of it.

• Religion is no safeguard

 
5) Move to a red-pill country and find a woman there
Problem: Moving abroad is terribly expensive and inconvenient. You will have to learn the language, have a job skill that works for you there, and you'll be an outsider to the new community for a long time. Moving assets is hard as they are taxed if when you transfer them. And if you have children here or family here that you care about, moving far away will not work for you. But if you're young, mobile, and smart, here's a list, just use it in reverse.

 
6) Import a "good woman" from abroad
Aka mail-order brides. This solution has a time-limit, because as soon as the woman gets her green card and becomes acculturated to the immense legal power she has here, she will attack just as treasonously as a soccer mom from LA.

 
7) Go MGTOW
You can forego LTRs, hookups, and kids altogether and you won't be divorce-raped or pregnancy-scared. The problem with this approach is that you are still being cuckholded. A portion of money you earn from any legitimate venture will be siphoned away by the state via taxes and re-distributed to raise the kids of other men (single moms on welfare). You also get no kids of your own, which is a goal many of us have. Note: vasectomies are not always reversible. And frozen sperm has a shelf-life.

 
8) Surrogacy
In this country it doesn't work because the woman can change her mind at any time and still get access to the kids and/or child support. If you do manage to pull it off, for example in a foreign country- you now get to choose between raising your kids right, or attending work and earning a solid living. Really only a good choice for the independently wealthy.

 
9) Pre-nuptual Agreements
Pre-nups are no guarantee. The woman can claim she signed it under duress, or have it disposed of or reduced for many other reasons. Importantly, your girlfriend or wife cannot pre-waive child support, because it is the "right" of the child, even though it must be paid to the custodial parent, and even though it can legally be used by her for expenses unrelated to child-care.

 
10) Continuously earn more, forever
Some of us are successful enough to pull this off. It has two problems: - "Grey divorce": Couples over 50 are getting divorced now at rates twice that only 20 years ago. - Dead bedrooms. TL; DR: If you want healthy kids, or just a permanent LTR, there is no known way to safeguard yourself from financial ruin, cheating, or both. But you can minimize your exposure, by realizing "she's not yours, it's just your turn".
