tl;dr:

  1. Don't offer him anything
  2. Make sure he doesn't mind when you're out fucking alpha cock
  3. Let your looks go
  4. Make him boring
  5. Funtime is over

Make him boring

I only recently started noticing stuff like this. Last year a girl I know said to me "Ugh, cut you hair...and stop wearing clothes like that!" so I asked, "Why, so I can be just as boring and replaceable as your boyfriend?"

It's just another way of making sure the girl is in charge of every part of the relationship.

Girl that I was shagging while she was dating another dude told me to grow my hair out (which is what her boyfriend had). So I cut it all off. Take that bitch.

For some reason your comment made me laugh a lot. I imagined you shaving your hair immediately, right in front of her in some strange primal display of dominance.

[–]Eloni 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I had grown my hair out (as my ex wanted me too).

She colored hers a hideous color, despite me asking her not to. It looked awful. She refused to alter it when I asked again.

So I cut my hair.

Some will call it petty, some will say it's one of the probably thousand reasons that she broke it off with me. I'll say worth it, and I'd do it again.

Quit linking these sites! And if your post is a link, take the effort to write some fucking commentary on it. Here's the article so that POS website doesn't get ad revenue:

1.

The Guy You Date: Thinks about what you have to offer him. He loves you because you give him your undivided time and attention, you’re attractive, and you share common interests and hobbies like playing tennis or obsessing over Fall Out Boy. He is hoping you will be a good match for him.

The Guy You Marry: Thinks about what he has to offer you. He loves you because of who you are- he appreciates your quirks, your flaws and strange sense of humor, the way you snort when you laugh and read Charles Dickens every winter, and everything he’s come to know about you. He is hoping he will be a good husband for you.

2.

The Guy You Date: Is quick to become jealous when you’re around other guys. He gets angry easily, which often ends up in long, petty arguments. He is possessive over your time, and although that can be cute at times, it can also become just downright annoying.

The Guy You Marry: Places his trust in you, and gives you the benefit of the doubt. He tries to understand your point of view before asserting his own, and is willing to give you space when you need it. He is always open to talking things out, and continues to exercise patience that you may not always deserve.

3.

The Guy You Date: The guy you wear make-up for. You spend hours preparing for a date because you want to impress him. You want him to think you are pretty and you hope he will give you a kiss at the end of the night, reminding you that he’s yours.

The Guy You Marry: The guy who you are no longer self-conscious around. He tells you that you are beautiful with or without makeup, because he loves you for your heart, mind, and soul. You don’t need his kiss to affirm his affection, but he gives you one anyways, which still sends butterflies fluttering around inside your stomach.

4.

The Guy You Date: He’s a mystery. You like that he is a puzzle for you to solve, and you try to be enigmatic around him as well to keep him interested. You’re afraid that eventually, you may grow bored of each other.

The Guy You Marry: You know him like the back of your hand. You let down your guard around him because you feel comfortable with revealing all your secrets to him. Although there are times when you are bored out of your minds together, you are still happy just to be in each other’s company.

5.

The Guy You Date: The guy you have fun with; the guy you are with because you have feelings for him.

The Guy You Marry: The guy you have fun with, but also cry with, laugh with, fight with, love with, and will be with for the rest of your life. You have feelings for him, but you are not with him solely because of your emotions. You are with him because you will love him apart from how tired, depressed, or angry you feel. He understands that loving you denotes sacrificing his time, energy, and other aspirations, and is still more than willing to make the commitment. He loves you not with a selfish or envious love, but with a patient, enduring, humble, faithful and selfless one.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.” -1 Corinthians 13:4-7

As a christian it makes me upset that the author took such an important verse from the bible and tied it with this obnoxious drivel.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

As an atheist I bristle at the way its used too, as if to lend credence to her bullshit. Oh yes, throw a bible verse in there because it will make you seem wiser or some shit. I should pull up another one, Proverbs 25:24. I think its better to simply not take a wife, but then again I've never really been a fan of Paul.

Proverbs 25:24 King James Version (KJV)

24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house.

Also my favorite verse. Second favorite is Ezekiel 23:20 There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

It's filled with a lot of useless flowery words, but it speaks a lot more to female thinking than anything. The guy she dates is a guy who she can't get commitment from. He's not a very good provider, but he gets her excited.

The guy she marries gives himself up willingly and without question. He's a beta provider and he gets the scraps.

She's getting ripped by users because she's explaining a woman's natural psyche instead of sugar coating it and providing BS excuses for why the right guy to marry is her "prince charming" and "savior".

[–]adrixshadow 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Pretty much the difference between alpha and beta straight from a women's mouth.

It's a lot more honest then what most women can comprehend.

[–]thredditsowaway 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your one-line comment contains deeper wisdom than the entirety of that foolish waste of server space.

[–]6TLaRm4g 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This article is pure redpill. The guy you date - alpha, the guy you marry - beta.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would rather be the guy she dates after she has married someone else.

[–]1myTRPaccount 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Do you have some analysis to accompany this drivel?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yea. Alpha fucks, beta bucks

[–]ExpendableOne 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If she appreciates, values or desires "the guy you marry" that much, why waste her time dating the other guy?

[–]dicklord_airplane 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

written by a 20 year old. kids are dumb, what else would you expect?

[–]sway_usa 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I could easily see this written by a 40 year old women. Their mindset doesn't change, although they might say it does.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's like the whole article is saying: "If you are a man and want to actually enjoy your time with a woman, be the guy she dates, not the guy she marries."

[–]HiddenPools 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The comment section is HILARIOUS! Check out this absolute GEM:

You're all ignorant if you think the fact that she is 20 years old has anything to do with anything. I am a 20-year-old woman married to a 24-year-old man and I believe that I know a lot more about what a marriage should be than a lot of the 40-something married couples filing for divorce right now. Age is not the issue here--the issue is that a lot of people do not understand what marriage is anymore. We like to have what we want when we want it, with no compromise, and if things don't work the way we planned we want an easy out. THAT IS NOT WHAT A MARRIAGE IS. I think the majority of this article was very insightful, but I do think it's too one-sided. I don't expect my husband to be Prince Charming while I give him nothing in return. Marriage is hard work. You have to make mutual sacrifices. But if you are married to the right person for the right reasons, it is worth all of the work you put into it. I wouldn't trade my marriage for anything in the world.

TL;DR 20 year old girl thinks she knows more about marriage than people who have been married longer than she's alive.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She said marriage is mutual sacrifice and takes hard work. That's true.

[–]totorox 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup. She's somewhat RP : what she says is clearly at odds with the marxist propaganda of the times we live in. Old school morals there. If she's referring to couples in their 40s who ditch marriage and children for futile motives, she's right on.
