TRP promises to make you a pick up legend, a millionaire, or whatever you want to be.

No it doesn't. All we promise you is the truth. We don't even promise you'll like it.

Disagree again. There's nothing simple about living a good life because you're always dealing with other creatures who bring a lot of complexity of their own. If it was simple, most people would be doing great. Reality is that most men are not. Most are brainwashed and fundamentally TRP seeks to remove this brainwashing that pervades our society.

TRP offers literally thousands of pages of rules, regulations, guidelines on how to live not only your dating life, but also your entire life.

OP - Are you even reading TRP? TRP is about truth, we don't have rules or regulations. Except lifting and not getting married and not being beta. I really wish we could make those three into regulations.

I'm gonna blow your mind here, it's not that hard to have a good life / it's because you're trying to hard.

So ... OP.... what you're saying is to love what you do and don't try too hard. This is the shittest advice ever, right up there with "just be yourself".

For guys who are not getting what they want, "stop trying so hard" is fucking terrible advice. They should try HARDER.

Try HARDER with the gym. Try HARDER with that business deal. Work LONGER hours (for yourself). And put more effort into getting WOMEN (obviously don't focus on just one or start giving her stuff).

Most of all work HARDER on being attractive.

"Don't try so hard" is what smug guys say when they got lucky once through not trying. It's not useful advice, and it just breeds laziness. If "stop trying so hard" works for you, then you're doing dumb fucking things when you are trying. If your idea of trying to pick up women involves either paying for their meals or hitting yourself in the head with a rock - then yes stop trying will benefit you hugely. For normal people and the RP aware - "stop trying" will lead to worse results in life.

I'll tell you how I've always gotten girls: Grim Determination. Nothing else works for me. Laid back? Get ignored. Don't approach? I don't exist. Stop trying so hard? I wasn't trying to start with. Stop caring? I didn't care to start with. Girls are passive (at first) and require male effort for anything to happen. Then they shit test. I handle this with the grim determination of a mercenary.

TL;DR It's not simple, it's not obvious, and "stop trying so hard" is the worst advice ever.

You seem to be the one who is actually misguided on what TRP is.

TRP isn't a step by step process that requires a lot of reading and adherence to specific rules and guidelines to get laid. That's closer to what PUA is. PUA is bullshit because it makes women the mission instead of the man himself. Your criticisms seem more geared toward PUA, so you should post this there.

TRP is not about following rules or doing X, Y, and Z to get women. It's more about deprogramming your mind. From birth men are programmed to believe life and by extension, the way to succeed with women, is X, while TRP is here to say wrong, its actually Y. Once you learn the truth, you simply approach the game in a different way. It's not about a set of rules or guidelines that have to be followed. It's about unplugging and getting in touch with reality. Once you understand the WHY its a lot easier to understand the HOW. The problem is blue pilled men are misguided on the WHY and therefore do not understand HOW they are not succeeding.

Let me explain the fundamental flaw in your thinking. The Red Pill is comprised of two distinct categories of people the intelligent and the average.

The intelligent person enjoys understanding how something works. He's interested in theory and nuance. Much of the Red Pill's Theory fulfill this need especially because a disproportionate amount of our population is comprised of Asians Indians and Jews.

The other category is the average person ~100 IQ. Average people have no interest in theory or why something is the way it is. They are interested in practical application. For example the average police officer has no interest in why a law or policy exists he just wants to know how to enforce it. Average people love sports because they are simple practical and straightforward.

Now from reading your post its obvious to me that you see no benefit in the Red Pills nuance nor it's explanations of why. For you the Red Pill is just a series of rules. That's how a lot of people interpret the world. Nothing wrong with that. Just know there is are people who derive more than that.

You are a man, most likely between the ages of 18-30

This is one of the assumption on why one user here said that the WHY is a big part of TRP.

18-30 is the time you lay the foundation of your life all the while society tells you that, as a man, you are not a human, you are supposed to work to have a family at 33. On top of that a young man can be easily manipulated for a lifetime of servitude.

18-30 you are pretty much nice-looking dirt. Your SMV is mainly determined how good your game is and how you look. Status, experience with life and women alike is almost non-existent.

Acknowledging that men peak in their mid 30s to their late 40s contradicts the female imperative.

A man who knows what he is, verified and cemented this knowledge over his younger years is by far the greater danger to society.

And I get a nice benevolent chuckle when younger dudes here debate for the first time in their lives viciously and openly the benefits of lifting, the right career choice and the perfect age to screen for a LTR without interference from females.

Is it over analyzing? Sure. But just doing trail&error might yield short-term results with the real risk of ending up like all the other PUA men - as betas in a dead marriage.

This isn't true. Many, many men are deprived of sex in 2017. There are a lot of reasons for it but the main reason is that for the vast majority of women, even average looking women, gravitation towards the top 5-10% of men is the norm. Basically extreme entitlement. Then there are men near that top percentile, some are even in it, that don't know how to hold frame or have developed a fear of approach and lack of self value because of the nature of women to shit test and the nature of our society to put down men.

It's not all meant to be followed. It's a buffet. You take what you need to sustain yourself and then walk and use the knowledge. If you try to follow every rule you will be paralyzed by analysis.

Fuck off cunt. Redpill wasn't necessary through history for a reason. There has never been a more difficult social meta to navigate in order to get laid. Competition isn't just the 10 dudes in the same village anymore.

Secondly you've added no solutions beyond "be urself duders it will all be coolz u'll find it when u not looking". I'll stick with TRP thanks. It not only gets you laid, but gives you the insight, frame, and leadership not to take face value advice from miserable plebs

I like your post because I think you're trying to get at a few things that seem to be problems on this sub, such as; new posters search for immediate validation/positive feedback (on their posts and from girls), seeing TRP as an ideology or gospel truth, as an extension of PUA, and most importantly, new people here seeing it as the only way to the life they want.

However at the core of TRP, I think it is something more (what GayLubeOil is getting at on the theory vs practical aspect). How do you take disillusioned unmotivated men and help them with general success in life, women and just feeling more masculine? Well, give them a starting point/book/style. I see TRP like jeetkunedo. TRP and all the sidebar material gets you in and started to fight on your own and on the path of being better. However I think the ultimate goal is to not need to come here anymore for insight/inspiration. You should eventually create your own style and path (disclaimer: I feel it is important to have this space to discuss and to advance what TRP is and keep the beginner-endorsed contributor dialogue for growth). A parallel I see in current modern culture is the young male attraction to the ideas and teachings of Jordan B Peterson. He has said himself that his self authoring and improvement materials are very sought after and successful with young men.

I agree that if you make TRP your life cookbook you will be happy, but only for a while. The ultimate goal should be to validate yourself.

This post is stupid, TRP is a collection of experiences and crowd-sourced theories to achieve certain goals. Why would you come here and post a message telling people they don't need it?

That's like going to a weight watchers group and telling people they don't need to be thin. They're not going to go "You're kidding, I don't? Oh wow if only I'd known!" they're going to go "Shut up we are trying to attain our goals and improve ourselves".

The last line you posted in your rant against TRP is one of the biggest proponents of TRP, which just shows how you don't have any understanding of what it is.

People come here confused and trying hard and learn that they need to focus on improving and caring about themselves instead of trying to appease others.

Partially in agreement here...

Way I see it, the true true purpose of TRP and the mindset of the single men who immerse themselves in it harkens back to what Lincoln once said admitted about slavery during g the civil war...His priority wasn't to free slaves, but to keep the Union intact, and if he could do that by freeing all slaves he would, do it by freeing no slaves he would, or free it by freeing some and leaving others alone, he'd do that.

Point blank, women are the inevitable priority for most RPs, even though it's considered "poor form" of some kind to admit that openly. And most TRP men accept TRP because they believe it to be the best, most comfortable way of getting women for them, but I think most would shuck it completely if they found a better way to achieve their goals with women.

If an RPer knows for sure he will get ass for being RP/doing ALL things RP, he'll do that. If he knows he can get ass by doing nothing TRP and spouting lame PUA shit, he will do that. If he knows he can get ass by being pure BP, he will do that and discard everything RP if RP works against him. People want what WORKS, nothing more and nothing less.

But all that being said...As heartless and hardcore as most RP beliefs, techniques and mindsets are, they do work.
