I see this trend that has been very prominent lately, where all the motivation, inspiration, success, improvement post or forum or Instagram post or whatever way of internet publishing focuses on physical fitness.

When you hear something about success in life, they always link it to being fit. The problem is that this confuses so many men thinking that if they get a great body, they will be the epitome of success and get great women and live a great life. It is not the case. I see a lot of fit guys in my gym, and also very skilled fighters when I was doing martial arts.

Many of them weren't doing that good financially or weren't any good on anything else and literally struggling or procrastinating on more important projects. You see some posts like "I am turning my life around" and shows some guy running a half marathon. Well, I've run two 10Ks and those didn't bring any money, nor any girls.

What actually helped, was being disciplined in my area of expertise and working daily, grinding myself on finding new clients etc. What also improved my life was reading a lot of books and learning different stuff that helps with both your emotional well being, financial well being as well as physical well being.

While physical training is an amazing foundation, it will not make you a top level man, unless that is what you do for a living. Having an amazing body but living on a minimum salary, or even worse on other people's money, is not success.
