You probably see more posts like that because, on average, 6+ feet guys need to work less to achieve RP success with women than shorter men do.

The unfortunate reality is that men who are average and below in heigh need to earn respect; it isn't given initially like it is for a tall man.

Op you must drop the stigma in your own mind first. I am BARELY 5'7". Hasnt bothered me, doesnt bother me.

You would be surprised how well I fare with taller women.

First time a short joke gets cracked I just remind them we are the same height when laying down. Their reaction to this comment will tell you a lot.

If you're short and let it bother you, you'll have trouble getting women. If you don't, you won't. Simple as that. There are over 3.5 billion men in the world who are shorter than 6'. Just think about that for a second.

Now, I'm about 5'6" and I realize I won't be getting a 6' tall woman. It doesn't bother me. The thing is, I'm not attracted to women taller than me. It may be some kind of subconsious defense mechanism, but when I see a girl taller than me, my mind immediately goes "her eyes are a bit too far apart" "she's a little too skinny" etc... even if the same proportions on a small chick would look good.

Just think about it, billions and billions of men under 6' tall. We wouldn't have that if all the under 6' guys thought they weren't capable of getting any pussy.

Not to toot my own horn but I will give you a quick rundown of how much height (or lack there of) can be overcome, and I can't prove this but I think it helps in my case.

I am 5'7" maybe 8 if I stretch. I was never tall but that forced me to improve myself so I worked out. I am in awesome shape and stronger then most men (even those who frequent the gym). I play guitar, sing, dance (mostly latin and freestyle), I am well read, hilarious, bank rolling, and the single most important thing of all, I ooze confidence. I will hit on a 6 foot girl in heels with no hesitation if she is hot and I want to bang her. The fact that I am not 6+ makes me even hotter to some because they know (mostly on a sub-conscious level) that my perceived value is extremely high.

Yes height does matter but it can be trumped, and often is, by confidence and being more interesting. I do occasionally get shot down for being short, but that is to be expected. I had (on a bit of a dry spell lately due to change of location) some quality plates. I got most of those plates by a simple approach like "Hi, I enjoy how you pretend not to look at me."

I have a buddy that is 6'6'' and when we go to the bars women just approach him. He thinks it's because of his game. Luckily it works out because they usually come with friends. In my opinion, being over 6'0'' is a HUGE advantage at least where I live.

Dude I'm 5'9 and I've always been obscenely successful with women. It's why I don't understand when people here say that height is the #1 most attractive quality that women look for in men. In my experience the #1 physical quality that women are attracted to in men is your face and the #2 is your muscularity/height. If you're a jacked up dude at 5'9 with a sexy mug then you're gonna do a lot better than a skinny dude at 6'2 with a busted grill. Granted I wish I was a little bit taller but it aint like it's ever held me back from getting laid. Height is just an indicator of fitness and if you pack on some muscle and learn how to fight then it doesn't matter that much. Personally I'd rather be bouncin around with dat jaunty swag than lopin like some big oaf.

I'm 6"1-6"2 and I definitely think it has helped me but at the same time I've seen shorter men do way better than me. As long as you're taller than the girl you are approaching I think you should be okay. If you're shorter than her you're going to have to make up for it in other ways.

5'7" and dating a girl that's 5'10" and loves to wear heels. She said one of the things she found attractive about me is that I didn't care about the height difference. The fact is, I do care; I like her height. When we're out together and guys look at her, then they look at me and you can see the WTF on their face.

Yes, being tall will give you an advantage but it's not as massive as people make it out to be. It makes initial interactions easier but that's about it. I have plenty of short friends who do way better than me.

I think the problem is a lot of guys trying to blame external factors they can't control on their lack of success. Yes, you can't change your height but how about stop complaining about it and focus on the things you can change?

Yeah, some of us short guys have success. It has always been easier for my friends who are over 6' than it has been for me, but I can gain attraction by maximizing my other traits and using game. One thing that really helps us vertically challenged men is muscle. It makes it easier to throw them around the bed and show dominance, and it never hurts to be stronger.

I'm mid 40s and have a 22 yo plate, working on another young one tonight, she's late 20s. Since I hit my mid 30s I have had little trouble getting attractive women interested, despite looking fat in winter due to the layers needed to stay warm. I'm about 30lbs too heavy, to be honest, but it doesn't seem to matter much. They like my dominant personality more than my belly bothers them. Yes I'm working on ridding myself of it, it takes longer after an injury to come back as you get older.

Actually, I'm a towering 5'5.55'' barefoot but no one seems to notice. Here's my rant:

Despite the fact that I have almost everything else going for me (Semitic good looks, decent job, intelligence, experiences, physiology besides height, hell even my dick length and girth are exactly 50th percentile for white men despite my height being in the 8th percentile), I feel like I'm knocked from a 7 or 8 to a 4 or 5 because I'm 10% shorter than women's ideal. Being short fukken sux. Period. Worse, try to complain, and the entire room will tell you to STFU.

Being short is exactly like being small Miata, which can actually compete with more expensive cars, but is not really a chick magnet as uttering "Mazda" doesn't make panties drop like "BMW."

However, during the digestion of TRP, I've realized it's kind of useless for men to constantly compare themselves to the elite; strive to get there? Great! Never be satisfied with mediocrity. But beat yourself up because you aren't top-tier? Bad idea. Recipe for misery and incel.

If you're a Miata, BP is being angry about how you're not a BMW and how they get all the women without trying despite you being a "nice car." Meanwhile, TRP is about learning to accept the fact that you were built as a Miata; upgrading all your parts, exterior, and interior; and learning to drive yourself fucking properly, utilizing your strengths, so you can waste BMWs with shitty drivers on the track of life.

Of course, some (probably most) women will still find a "stock BMW" sexier than a "kitted-out Miata" when placed side by side, even if the BMW is a "loser," but there are Miata enthusiasts and women do like winners (i.e., status). Then there are drivers who don't always win but just love driving. Don't you think every no-name in F1 fucking loves his job?

For example, my partner count and number of times I've had sex is pathetic next to some men and borderline manwhorish compared to others. I'm still learning that that's fine. I've met a tall men who were virgins and short guys who were ladies men.

I'm 5'10/11 but am shorter compared to a large majority of guys around me (at least 6'0) The thing I have they don't is that I look strong and the confidence that comes with it gets me a lot more female attention and respect than their extra couple inches of height gives.

So, I mean I'm about 6ft tall and for the longest time and I had no fucking skill with women. Sure you have to do more work when shorter, but bitching about being on the short end of the genetic stick is a way bigger turn off. We're not all perfect, get over it, improve in other ways. I know tons of guys who are over 6 feet tall that don't get any pussy and guys who are shorter that slay. It's all a mindset.

You are at a huge disadvantage, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Except, forget that you are short. Just fucking forget about it. If a girl makes a joke about it, just be like 'wtf are you talking about' and move on.

After adopting this principle I've had so much more fun and success (I'm 5,8)

I'm 5 foot 6 inches.

I've been told to my face on plenty of dates "Sorry.. I am just attracted to tall guys" so many times it doesn't phase me any more.

Women like tall guys. Men like thin women.

It's just life. So as a short guy.. I make sure I am in really good shape, wearing nice clothes, and always smile and say hello to everybody around me.

AWALT vs NAWALT is not as cut-and-dry as we assume when it comes to height. No, it is not a stretch (lol) to say that all girls want tall guys. However, I think our emphasis on height gets blown out of proportion because it's the only "masculine" trait that is socially acceptable for girls to openly express a preference towards. Why? You've probably never heard of a girl saying "I love men who are big, muscular, confrontational, and aggressive." Not, at least, without being feminist-shamed for doing so. After all, admitting masculinity is attractive flies in the face of feminist theory. Think about this: to want a shorter girl is generally accepted, but we get shamed for seeking "feminine, submissive, and obedient."

What do we do then? If you're standing next to your slightly taller clone, you will lose 9/10 times in the eyes of attractive women. Say you're better than him in every aspect but his height, assuming you're at least taller than the girls, you might actually reverse this to, say, 3/10. But if the tall guy started working out and dressing better, it would go back over to 9/10 in his favour. If you're shorter than most girls? Maybe the taller guy would win 10/10 times, but if you work hard at all the other stuff you might move it to 9/10. You can spend the rest of your life worrying about it or doing your best in spite of it, acknowledging and accepting the disadvantage.

And the reality is, tall, good-looking, high-value guys are VERY rare. Most of the men on r/TRP were driven here, and driven to deliberately work on their masculinity, by total lack of success in the SMP. Guys who "do alright" and get laid occasionally just on their height alone rarely have that incentive because they're alright with just getting "their share."

Mediocrity breeds mediocrity. It is despair which breeds excellence.

TL;DR height is incredibly important, but we only hear about it so often because girls are ashamed to admit the "darker" masculine traits that they want along with height.

Side-note: according to the OK Cupid stats (too lazy to find), message responses and lifetime sexual partners begin to taper off around 5'8 and below, with another brief spike just above 6'. Keep in mind that men on OKC lie upwards by 2" so the real "threshhold" for "short" is really close to 5'6. Yes, 5'7 to 5'11 have a slight disadvantage to 6+, but it is much smaller than the drop off below that level.

You can't change your height, so work on what you CAN change. I know a guy that's fucking 5' that kills it. He brought his gf to a party a few nights back, and she was smokin'. She was 5' 2" btw

Women want men proportionate in size compared to them, that is all. However, some women do not care. I'm 5' 10" and my last girlfriend was around 6' lel

At the end of the day, when you have a killer personality, are ripped, money, skincare, style. Height is almost a non-factor. Just thank yourself for not being shorter than you are. I'm 5' 10" but could have been 5' 7". You might be 5' 7" but could have been 5' 4". So on and so forth.
