Personally, I think Bro Code is important among close male friends. This is an idea unique to males - women can have close friends, but their bonds are often superficial and most of their friends tend to be interchangeable and disposable. Women simply compete too much with each other to bond like males do - that's why a common tactic for women who are controlling is to alienate men from their bros.

Respect is NOT weakness. You did good. Would you throw your friendship away over some pussy? NO. Congrats, you are a man that other men can be proud of. Think of it as 'friendship preserved' instead of 'opportunity missed.'

For the most part, "Bro Code" is a bunch of bullshit. I've seen it broken way too many times to actually believe it exists. I typically make my decisions on a case by case basis. However, I think you did good. Fucking your good buddy's sister would definitely mess up your friendship.

Yup. Bro Code states that you must get absolute consent from your bro if you are to hook-up with his sister. Even then, I wouldn't do it because women always fuck up men's friendships.

I think you did the right thing.

One thing I have learned as I have grown older is that friends are hard to come by. It's hard to meet new guys and cultivate friendships beyond the normal shooting of the breeze.

During high school and college I had a huge groups of friends both girls and guys. Now I have a LTR and 2 guys I would honestly say they are friends.

The adult world is way different. You have to chose your friends wisely. Lots of people are just users. They see you only as a means to a end. Wether that's a free meal, a helping hand during a move, or a way to steal your pussy.

So if this guy truly is your bro than not fucking sister is a good idea. Unless she wife material what's the good that can come from it? Keep the real friends you have.

Camaraderie and loyalty are in short supply nowadays.

Nothing beta about treating your friends honorably. If anything, it is "alpha" to turn down a woman because of this. You know you can get another girl that isn't off-limits. If you know a guy well enough to consider him your friend, and bang his sister, you're liable for an ass-kicking...unless he specifically gave you the green light. This applies to his current plates/ex-gf's as well. Girls come and go, but your true male friends will always be there for you if you treat them accordingly. Always remember this.

You did well. You don't want to shit where you eat. You answered a question of what is more valuable to you between one night of pussy and a broken friendship or a lifelong friendship and pussy on other nights. And you answered it the right way.
