A girl I had a crush on and multiple chances with over two years.

What happened? She just made me an extreme beta with her presence. She was a grade above, popular, and very attractive. I was sort of in the "middle" crowd of the grade below so I naturally put her on a pedestal.

I was way too nice to her, sending her goodnight and goodmorning texts, complimenting her for no reason, extremely forgiving, etc.

I really fucked up early on. She had just told me she had feelings for me, and we started that talking phase of high school relationships. About two weeks in she hooks up with her ex who was visiting for the weekend after moving away. She claimed she was just in love with him. I later realized he just had game. He was an alpha. Simple as that. But I couldn't get over her.

Maybe 6 months later of me still liking her, I told her. We started the talking shit again, went on a few dates. But I doubted her feelings and never made a move on her in fear of rejection. But I also was a beta bitch during this time.

During those six months I sort of developed game. I could've dated a few girls, but she stayed in the back of my mind every time.

I'm glad this happened though. If it had not, I wouldn't be working to improve myself, my game, and my life. It taught me valuable lessons and facts about life and girls.

the first time i dated a truly hot (some would put her at 9) woman, i didn't know how to handle it. i thought she liked me for being me LOLOLOL.

How did it go?

I was the most absolute beta, blue pill, sad excuse for a man that I could ever be, but I was also a young blood who didn't have a single positive male role model in my life, only women. I was always the quiet weird kid who would claim that he was simply introverted or smarter than everyone simply because I was afraid of being rejected because I wasn't interesting or worthy of talking to.

I was 12 when she came strolling into my life. She was the beautiful smart white girl who I knew was just completely out of my fucking league. I went home and told my mom about this angel I saw and she told me the most inane, shit advice I ever heard in my life. "If you be friends with her, she'll love you forever." I knew I had to make it my life's mission to be friends with this girl so that I could hold hands with her, walk down along the beach with the sun setting on the horizon with her. It was my only goal in life.

I spent a total of seven (7) years trying to get this girl. I did everything for her and I mean everything. I was the shoulder for her to cry on, I was the safe guy she'd walk home with when her boyfriend didn't want to see her. I was so fucking beta that I tied this girls fucking shoes for her but I knew that if I did all of this, she would just grace me with the reward of being her boyfriend and that I would unlock happiness.

Well years went by and I kept doing the same ol' same ol' and I would wonder why she didn't love me? What do all these douchebags got that I don't? I wouldn't even question her, I would just find weaknesses in other men and try to bring them down to my level instead of boosting myself up to theres.

On the seventh year, she moved to another state. On the day of her move, I was with her the whole time. I brought this girl a fucking one pound Hershey chocolate bar, and I had ironed her JROTC uniform for her so that she could turn it back in looking crisp and new.

I walked her home one last time and I wanted to kiss this girl, this perfect girl who I knew could do know wrong but I couldn't. Instead I asked her "Why don't you love me? I've done everything under the sun for you and you've never returned a single favor, nor reciprocated my love. What's so wrong with me?"

I'll never forget what she said to me. "You're just so safe and boring. I could never love someone who just hands me everything. I just feel so pampered that I don't have to do anything. I just have it all given to me without doing anything."

I felt so crushed, I felt so stupid. I stood there dumbfounded before I turned heel and walked home. I was so full of rage I don't even remember how I got home. I just went home, laid in my bed and cried like a bitch until I fell asleep.

I feel like that day is the day my innocence died and something new emerged. After that happened, until I found this subreddit I was a complete butthurt beta. I hated women because I had held them to such a high standard.

Once I found this subreddit, I realized what was wrong with my life and what was wrong with me and I've been on the track to completely fix the damage that has been done to my from my mother who raised me alone.

So thanks Ashley, because of you I know what the world really is and I'll be damned if I ever put someone before myself again.

How did it go?

After the last controlling fight I could handle I called it off. Her angry controlling bitch face transformed into an upset weak face and she started crying. It's as if I could watch the power drain from her in real-time. The breakup was final. Within a few days her shit was dropped off and we had a rational discussion but I held my ground.

Within a week she was begging to have me back. Said she'd change everything promise. Didn't buy it.

I started realizing that women don't want you to worship them or even let them take the reigns a majority of the time. They want to be lead around. They want to be dominated. It's comforting for them.

HIS name was my father. And he simply noted that women want to be led in a relationship, not be equal. That doesn't mean you are their drill sergeant (heh, I said "drill") but gals don't want you looking at them asking, "Gee, what should be doing now?" They want a man with a plan, and the ability to implement that plan.

He also told me that if you are very lucky in life, you will be able to count on your close family, and maybe one or two close, lifetime friends. Everyone else--absolutely everyone else, including lovers--will come and go and not really mean much to you, or you to them.

Those two bits of very good wisdom should be told to everyone.

I'm surprisingly not really bitter about all of this though. I can't be bitter about facts and truth. I'm accepting the way things are and working on developing a sort of encompassing meta philosophy in order to understand the proper role of women and love and life. I'm basically (philosophically) going the way of religion in trying to figure this out, because the only other logical alternative is absolute nihilism.

TL;DR 1. Virgin who turned out to be a cheating whore. 2. Virgin who after years of protestations of love kicked me to the curb after I moved cross country to be with her and reverted to beta. 3. Virgin who I was in a relationship with for 2 years and was the only dick she'd ever touched turned into a raging slut after we broke up.
