I love this subreddit - it is, by far, my favourite place on the internet. I discovered it last year and have learned so much; My interactions with women over the years make much more sense...My game has improved. Most of my old 'beta' tendencies are gone, and I'm better for it. I'm happier and more confident. I've spun plates and had fun. I understand how to protect myself when things go bad, and that knowledge is invaluable. This sub, in many ways, saved my life.

I often find, however, that there is an overriding negativity towards women and long term relationships that doesn't make sense. Believe me, I've been hurt by women more times than I can count. I've gone through an extreme anger phase where I hated them: how selfish they can be, how cold and hurtful when they aren't getting what they want, and how quick to cut you off when you don't meet their exact requirements. How they can change their tune in a heartbeat for the smallest reason. How they use their sexual power to get what they want in a conniving and manipulative way. I get it.

The thing is, I'm almost 40, and there is very little in this life I've experienced as good as the feeling of making love to someone you truly care about. When you're deep inside her, pressed up against her, hearing her moan, and when she whispers in your ear that she loves you... that feeling of being loved, the warmth that overcomes you, there's nothing like it. It's different from banging a chick a few times that you don't really give a shit about. I'm talking about that deeper connection that comes from someone you're in love with.

That should be your goal. I don't believe in the Disney fairy tale. The feeling, the connection I'm talking about may be fleeting - you may break up the next day - but it's real for that moment, and it's worth it. If you haven't experienced it, I'm truly sorry.

I guess what I'm saying is: if you truly believe that women are evil, that you should never risk being hurt (either emotionally or financially) by getting into an LTR, and that you're better off MGTOW...you've missed the point. This place is supposed to help you navigate the gender dynamics of this screwed up society, not complain about how women are monsters.
