This is a reminder to never let your happiness rely on a woman. This whole goddamn thread is painful to read, all of them are men and still people won't accept TRP

This woman can't even appreciate what her "SO" does for her, she's feeling guilty about being subconsciously put off by it.

"Due to my individual therapy, I saw that I needed to not be married."

What an unfortunate coincidence.

Turns up later that the dude was a drug addict that would go on 24-48 hour binges. If that's the case, she's a saint for even bothering with counseling.

She wrote her post like a fucking Eat. Pray. Love. advert, but honestly, I think leaving was the best option as it is healthiest for the child(ren).

Prime example why you can't let your guard down in a relationship. With this amount of red pill knowledge it almost seems that to maintain a healthy relationship with a woman is more akin to a full time job. The costs and benefits of having a relationship with modern women is not worth it.

Non sequitur.

[–]oreopimp29 points30 points31 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A woman's love is like a hand powered grinding wheel. If you pump furiously and wind it up, she will do the job, make noise, even throw off sparks. She will respond, BUT ONLY RESPOND. The minute you release the handle...she begins winding down. She can only respond in a temporary manner. That is why they rarely call or initiate anything. They are constructed to only respond. AND THEY RESPOND TO EVERYTHING YOU DO AND EVERYTHING YOU DON'T DO.

Hence... you can never fall asleep at the wheel.

How is shutting up and not weeping in front of her a full time job? It literally requires you to do nothing. Where can I get a job that easy?

[–]TRP Vanguardnicethingyoucanthave 25 points26 points27 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

This is a perfect example of a red pill fact: Society tells us that a wife is a partner, a friend, a companion. But the truth is, you have to keep a wall between you if you want to stay with her. In a way, you'll always be alone.

I'm not sure why you brought up weeping. I've seen the exact same reaction from women from nothing more than being honest with them about having worries about the job market. It sucks. You can see the attraction drain out of a woman - you can see it in her eyes, for the crime of being a human with human fears.

So yeah, in a way maintaining that wall is a full time job.

The thing to learn from this is, if you're single right now, be realistic about what you will get from a relationship. I've had moments in my life where I thought, "wow, I'm so lonely, I wish a had a girlfriend." But the truth is, I'm still going to be lonely even when I get a girl.

The red pill allows me to say, "wow, I'm feeling lonely, I'm going to get a dog" or "I'm feeling lonely so I'm going to hang with my buddies." It forces me to be brutally honest about what a relationship is - it's about access to sex. And I don't get angry about that or feel cheated by it. It's just reality.

[–]telnet_reddit_80 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

You expect her not to get fat, she expects you not to be a wuss. Doesn't mean she can't enjoy a cake every once in a while, or that you can't show a little vulnerability every once a while. Just don't make it a habit.

Not even because of her. Don't make it a habit because pitying yourself is bad for the soul.

And if you do it every once in a while, she will be genuinely happy to comfort you. That's what women mean when they want you to "open up".

[–]TRP Vanguardnicethingyoucanthave 8 points9 points10 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

she expects you not to be a wuss

To whom are you replying? Certainly not me - if so, you suck at reading comprehension. Here's what I said: "I'm not sure why you brought up weeping. You can see the attraction drain out of a woman - you can see it in her eyes, for the crime of being a human with human fears."

Nothing in that even remotely implies being a "wuss"

I'm saying that women lose attraction due to any sign of weakness at all. I'm not talking about crying. I'm talking about, like this:

http://thedoghousediaries.com/573

You expect her not to get fat

Getting fat and being a wuss might be sufficiently parallel. Both of those are extreme cases. But being fat and having feelings are not the same thing.

[–]telnet_reddit_80 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

To whom are you replying? Certainly not me

To you. I'm being "realistic about what you should expect from a relationship." And there's no difference between weeping and sharing fears. The message stays the same: "I'm not sure if I can handle life." And it's just not a good message.

Actually, weeping might be better. Shame is not that unattractive.

But being fat and having feelings are not the same thing.

Having feelings is like being hungry. Having feelings doesn't mean you have to share them, just like a pang doesn't mean you have to stuff your face.

I understand this now. I just don't get why the media pushes for guys to open up.

[–]telnet_reddit_80 9 points10 points11 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Think of it as a shit test. A large scale one.

[–]dreamingawake09 17 points18 points19 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Because it sells that's why. I work in media(specifically television) and our number one job is to sell a fantasy to the viewer, why, because it makes us money. It all boils down to that sweet greenback, or euro, sterling pound, yuan, yen, or peso. This goes to the next part. Who spends more money? Women by far, as such we market the majority of our programming to them, because we KNOW they will blow their money on shit they do not need, because they want to impress or make their "friends" jealous. Welcome to the media world.

[–]TRP Vanguardtheubercuber 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

This is very interesting! I always thought men spent to impress, while women just frittered money away on things they got personal enjoyment from.

Do you know of any good books/articles on the kinds of market research that leads to these conclusions? Maybe some stories from inside the boardrooms? I'm sure everyone here would love to see that kind of thing.

[–]dreamingawake09 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I don't have the intense articles and research on me, I just assist with productions and deal with audio-based work. However, I have been in board-meetings and the such in which a show idea is conjured up and focused on a specific demographic.

As of recent decades, women have grown significantly(chuckle) in spending power, I think there is an article that was posted up last week about how women are earning more than men under Obama, which is similar to what occurred during the Jimmy Carter days. Anyway, as a producer or a high-roller in a media-based company, your end-goal is profit, the quality of the show is secondary.

To continue onward with that last sentence, with the fact that women have a lot of spending power now compared to women, your best bet in media is to create something that will tap in to the emotional side of a woman,as they are more emotional creatures than a man is. Create emotional programming, doesn't matter if its good or not, hence why reality shows are so successful(besides the fact that they are dirt cheap to make), you are creating something "real", which a woman feels compelled to have so badly in their life, that they'll watch it on TV to help supplement that need until they have that "realness or authenticity" in their own lives. Couple that with working with companies and name brands that will attract dollars from women(clothing, jewelry, music, birth control, workout memberships, etc,.) You have a great cycle of money flowing between viewer and broadcaster. This is from my own experience from working in the industry, so take that for what you will, but that is how things work here. Ultimately and truly, it's all in your head ;).

[–]TRP Vanguardtheubercuber 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thank you for the insight! If you ever want to expand some of this in their own post I for one would love to see it.

you are creating something "real", which a woman feels compelled to have so badly in their life

I think this is a very impactful statement into the insight of the Red Pill. Maybe this fake, plastic society and the men that aren't allowed to act like men lead to this feeling. But this is definitely gold right here.

[–]dreamingawake09 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Hey, more than welcome to share. It's frustrating that the media gets knocked around, and in many cases it is just. However, its a business and the ultimate goal of a business is profit, that's how these places are run. I try to equate quality and profit in my stuff, but ultimately, the C.R.E.A.M. rule prevails. Cash Rules Everything Around Me.

[–]TRP Vanguardtheubercuber 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

On the one hand, I know you're just doing your job, and I agree. You're part of a business that has a product (TV shows or commercials or whatever) and it's your job and your company's responsibility to make that profitable.

however...

On the other hand I would argue that creating and perpetuating this environment is what causes problems.

I think this exact philosophy is what caused the Red Pill situation. Women want to date attractive and entertaining men and then settle down with providers. They act on their own immediate interest rather than society's, but because they are a large and essential part of society, those actions compound until they start screwing over the rest of the population.

I think the issue is we aren't really programmed to think large scale and long term. Hence why things like climate change are even up for debate. "Me, a tiny human, ruin the earth? That's impossible!" A little evil media company or another woman riding the carousel is just a drop in the bucket, but the bucket's still being filled with piss.

[–]dreamingawake09 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh I agree with you, don't get me wrong. I got into this industry because I genuinely enjoy working with audio technology and creating unique things with it. I strongly dislike how media companies exploit the human psyche for dollars with the unintentional societal consequences. Of course, some CEOs know the effects and purposefully do this, and I sternly hate it, the TV company I'm with does this a lot and I hate it a lot, and within the next few months I'll be leaving that place to a more positive company, and eventually opening my own that is geared strictly to creativity and not mainly focusing on profits. It's one of those situations where the only way you can change the machine, is to become it, so that's what I'm attempting to do.

[–]RUNNY_VAGINA 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

it's the culture and media helping women weed out the weak men.

I think you're missing the point- which is that the more she learned about who he actually was, the more she realized that she didn't like that person. It's not about the opening up, it's about who the guy was once he opened up.

I love this. This chick won't accept the truth even when its right in front of her.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol, couples counselling doing more harm than good it seems ~

Of course, what did he expect from hiring a woman in a country filled with man hating femnazis to help fix his marital problems. Wouldn't be surprised if she was having personal sessions with his wife to update her on how much alimony and child support she can expect from the fallout.

[–]telnet_reddit_80 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Excellent find.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Tricked him?! I'm not sure she understands the irony.

I'm flabbergasted at her own self-ignorance. Does she even know what she (doesn't) want from a man?

And all this piffle about opening up, feeling great, and then denying herself gratification and catharsis, in the end, because only then does she realise it wasn't what she wanted. And she claims he tricked her?! Truely the blind leading the blind.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of deleted comments... have T.R.P been over there and demolished them already? Wish I saw some of the posts.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

actually all those deleted post are from woman (most of them). mine are still there last time i checked. which realy suprises me because i actually had a discussion.

To repeat: supplicating beta's loose frame control, and power errodes (or hand) in the relationship. Women loose attraction (hamsters will rationalize any number of reasons) b/c there not getting what they want, the alpha display's of innate security (not mr. nice guy, ect). The hypergamic hamster might surmise: poor mate qualty. Don't you just love dark enlightment!

what did I just read

[–]Grand_Designs 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNovswAlmio

Start at 11:30...and listen. Tyler describes in essence underlying attraction; women will not reward what had been jammed down your ass since you where 5. Again this needs to be ingrained, I think: Man affections vs boy affections. In fact, I didn't bookmarkt it, but there's a line in the book Pimp (cited in this forum before) about Iceberg getting cold hard red pill advice from a former pimp while serving time in the pen. Best red pill line in the book. Context: make it your movie and not hers...if I find the sentence, I'll post it.

[–]Endorsed Contributorburningtimber 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Think I found it:

He would say, Always remember whether you be sucker or hustler in the world out there, youve got that vital edge if you can iron-clad your feelings. I picture the human mind as a movie screen. If youre a dopey sucker, youll just sit and watch all kinds of mindwrecking, damn fool movies on that screen

He said. Son, there is no reason except a stupid one for anybody to project on that screen anything that will worry him or dull that vital edge. After all, we are the absolute bosses of that whole theatre and show in our minds. We even write the script. So always write positive, dynamic scripts and show only the best movies for you on that screen whether you are pimp or priest

Now, he was talking about an internal movie screen, but I guess if you externalize it, it becomes frame.

Things kind of brings up a question I hadn't thought of in a Red Pill context before: Who should guys open up to (if they need to)?

Personally, when I feel shitty I go chill with my guys or play a contact sport. But in my opinion, TRP should be a way for all guys to live a better life, and some of those guys need to open up to people.

So who should that be? Family? Best friends? Strangers?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

best bet would be a good friend who doesnt mind. or you can buy a dog.

It only fools most men in that it's a cultural norm. Men are feminized by society and taught female virtues are superior to male or masculine virtues, so I fundamentally disagree.

If anything, the hamster is concretely demonstrative of female inferiority. The fact that we let these things vote and gave them a say in our political systems is frightening.
