TL;DR Master the art of ruthless behavior to earn your place in this world. Mastery ain't easy.

Most of you should know that Mr. Chaplin was one of the most famous comedians of the 20th century, for him to say something like this bears significance. This was a man who lived during World War 2 and the Great Depression. He was best known for satirizing Adolf Hitler for U.S. war propaganda performances. Even a man who's job was to raise people's spirits and make them laugh understood the seriousness required to survive and thrive in life.

As a man in this world, you must be a hunter of sorts. No one will provide for you; even a parent's love has limits. You have a bad hunt, you die. Fortunately, people have gathered wealth over time and it's not quite so hard anymore. If you have a harrowing hunt, you can try to convince your neighbor for some of his, with either wealth, words, or sword. But the bottom line is you must eat, you have to fight, you have to fuck.

From the popular Game of Thrones show, there is a quote most appropriate: "When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die." Bully for you, in this game, you have 3 options: survive as a mewling beta, thrive as an alpha, or give up and die as an omega. And you get to choose, it just depends on how willing you are to take it. If you want money, hustle for it ceaselessly. If you want sex, hunt it relentlessly (within reason). If you want to thrive, grab life by the balls and take what you want from it.

Some of you may have to practice ruthlessness to comprehend it. For the more emotional among us (like myself), you may struggle. You can still be compassionate as you desire, but not until you master this ability. Discipline will help you. If you want to get in an LTR (maybe you want kids, what have you) and you hope to stay that way, RP tenets come first. You may have to ghost her for a day or two if she does something displeasing. If you really want her to have the deep feelings for you that you desire, you will have to combine the emotional high highs with the low lows, as we know. Don't let your urges to talk to her and tell her it's ok overtake your desire for future relationship stability. If you don't feed that wolf, it dies as it needs to. If you aren't ruthless in your dealings with women, they'll push you in a corner without a second thought. Think at this level.

Once you attain a position of power, once you have mastered the art of no remorse, you have freedom. You don't have to be as ruthless. But you can never truly relax. But you can let whatever compassion is still in you come out.

Fight like you're gonna die. Fuck like it's your last. Live like you want, but to survive, and especially to thrive, you need to master a balls-to-the-wall ruthlessness.
